  1. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) Can I get ya a cold one? Thank you, sir.
  2. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:52 PM) Slump = over LOL GO KONG!!!!!!!!! It's amazing what a bloop base hit can do for a guy.
  3. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:52 PM) Thanks for explaining. You guys are really great at play-by-play. It's almost better than actually watching a game...almost. And Iguchi has just been awesome. I couldn't have asked for more from that guy. What's cool about this is that nobody is actually doing play by play. Just a few guys talking as the game goes on.
  4. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:44 PM) Could you explain what happened? I can't wait until I can actually watch some games and not have to use gameday. Well ... my comment was based on a couple of plays. Earlier, Wells hit a hig chopper that he fielded and he had no chance to get him, and put it in his pocket instead of making an ill-advised throw. The second play happened last inning, he fielded a ground ball, look and cocked to throw to second to get the force, realized he didn't have a play and got the sure out at first.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) I think you are wrong as he is not in the record book on sox.com DJ just said that Lew Frezier was the last Sox to do it back in '98.
  6. QUOTE(Texsox @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:38 PM) I hope Ozzie isn't compelled to get Jon a third straight CG. Get him into the 7th and give the pen a little work and rest his arm. He won't pitch 9. If he had the shutout, maybe.
  7. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:37 PM) Crede's the only guy without a hit today. He's saving them for when we really need them.
  8. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) I don't think we are going to see Pods try for a fifth. Good point.
  9. There is our first double digit runs scored game of the season.
  10. Greg Zaun is one helluva catcher. I wanted the Sox to sign him before we got AJ.
  11. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:16 PM) Not sure, but I think that you went clean off home plate. The dirt around home plate is like concrete. DJ missing the fact that Uribe dropped the ball on the steal attempt.
  12. There's that concrete home plate area coming into play again.
  13. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ May 7, 2005 -> 01:04 PM) Dave, throw your glove on the mound, see you later, the Sox are dead, Stieb. God what a lot of tight movement his pitches had. He was a damn good pitcher, that's for sure.
