  1. Slightly off-topic, but I had to do a slideshow on why drugs are bad, and I picked up one of those books on marijuana in my school library, and on one of the pages it showed a picture of Wu-Tang Clan on stage and the caption said, "many rap groups, like the Wu-Tang Clan, use marijuana." That was it, and the funny part about it, it was in a "how does marijuana affect the body" section. At least I thought it was funny.

BTW -- I  Byfuglian.  He absolutely manhandles guys behind the net and on the boards.  Plus, he showed some surprising quickness for a big-man, along with a rocket slapshot.  He's down from something like 280 when he was first drafted to around 240.  Real, real impressive.

I don't know if I told you this before, but he shot at one of my camps like 6 years ago. I was terrified, he was so damn big and his shot was just brutal. But a true baby-faced big man. It's really fun to watch him play and think, wow, he scored on me. Anyway, I hope he pans out, he's such a talent.

That is the thing... he does not need to create his own shot. He already has an nba three point shot so he will get his fair share of shot attempts. If you can shoot like he does you will stick around in the nba for a long time... especially if he goes to a team that is very pick oriented

I guess the way I'm looking at it, Morrison seems like the more athletic player, and JJ doesn't have the athleticism to a good NBA'er. All of this is my opinion and I don't claim to be a basketball genius of any kind.

  4. While you're all on the subject of iPods n such , I bought an iriver about a year ago, back when iPods didnt have color screens and hold pictures. Its a great invention and i have about 2500 songs on it, however I wish I wouldve waited to get an iPod video. But, youre right, they are for people who want to have every song they own available any time they want.

He had a better than Augustine of Illinois.

Different positions? Different systems? Vukusic runs in a Princeton offense, he's the main target. He doesn't rebound or play effective D, Augustine does both and still scored. I think the guys that got screwed were the Michigan State guys minus Paul Davis (who's the biggest whiniest b**** in the Big 10 according to the SI players poll :D ). Ager> Tucker, Shannon Brown > Tucker.

Who cares?  I have no problem with performance-enhancing drugs.  Especially since they weren't against mlb rules at the time.

    Use green next time...

Oh, you're serious, how can you justify cheating? They may not have been banned by MLB, but they were banned by the US Government.

  7. What a Pianist

Apparently he struck his girlfriend, who is 18 years younger than him. I think this says it all though...

"He absolutely is not guilty and did not strike that woman," Gonzalez told the Palm Beach Post, adding that "the last thing this man would want to do is hurt his hands."

    :lolhitting

Oh, we're cool then. Just a misunderstanding. I do have a nasty change though.  :P What the name of your stud pitcher guy again? John Kochninsky or something like that right? I've heard of him before.

IMO, Johnny is one of the overrated guys, Norkus is the stud pitcher, a lefty with a good hook and a pretty hard fastball. And he's a good 1B that can hit.

Our conference sucks ass though so it should be easy for them to win.

Meh, they play a tough schedule outside of the conference.

SF1, I dont know how tough that conference is, but it doesnt seem like it'd be a very strong baseball conference, and talking yourself up is just obnoxious.

EDIT: I'm an ice hockey goalie, should I go on the boards here and suggest that my glove saves are Brodeur-like? Or tell everyone that I go from post to post more smoothly than everyone? I dont know, bad comparisons maybe, but still, talking about your team is one thing, but hyping yourself is ridiculous.
