I really think that this whole concern about head injuries in terms of causing these guys to be depressed and off themselves is a bunch of bulls***. You see this everywhere with people who fall from fame - they don't know how to deal with it.
You see child stars, actors and actresses, musicians, it happens in all walks of "celebrity", and that's really what I think should be to blame. To hell with any brain damage causing these guys to lose their s***.
So do you think CTE is just made up?
This is pretty shocking.

The list: Lew Bush, David Griggs, Rodney Culver, Doug Miller, Curtis Whitley, Chris Mims, Shawn Lee and Seau
This April was better than 2011. So there is that.
Hopefully the hitting can get a little better. That and I'd like to see the Sox player better at home. 4-7 so far this year.

Damn Pack get Worthy any time I saw him, he was good.
I thought Packers were going for Konz. I can't believe he is falling this far.
I really like Worthy. Big dude.
This is cruel.
Rutgers WR Mohamed Sanu was the victim of a prank call on the first day of the draft claiming he was drafted by the Bengals.
Agent Mike McCartney took the call, which said Cincinnati selected Sanu at No. 27. McCartney went so far as to post the "news" on Twitter, before the pick was announced as Wisconsin OG Kevin Zeitler. "It was some kid from Rutgers who said his friend got his phone and played a practical joke. He was apologetic," McCartney explained. Sanu is a projected late second- or third-rounder.

Absolutely. But if you're truly drafting the "best available player" and that happens to be a QB at your spot four years in a row...
Well you have to be a little selective. Sometimes what you need is the best available or at least really close.
All I know is I'm glad the Packers didn't pick for need in 2005. They definitely didn't need a QB, but took one anyway.
All teams pretty much have need at every position all the time. Just the way it is in the NFL, but if you come into a draft and go we need a LT more than anything and we are going to draft whatever LT falls to us. That is a bad way to draft.
Was DE a big need for the Bears? I think they have some solid players already.
From Wes Bunting:
The Bears will allow Boise State DE Shea McClellin to play to his strength and rush from a three-point stance, where he is noticeably more comfortable and effective compared to when rushing standing up. Should have an instant impact off the edge and could be a 10-12 sack guy in the NFL.
A lot of scouts don't think that Riley Reiff can play left tackle. Maybe the Bears thought he was a RT.
You never draft for need. The Browns are a team that always drafts for need.
