  1. QUOTE (kevo880 @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 03:08 PM) Aaron Leming ‏@AaronLemingNFL 7m7 minutes ago Wow. Foles to the Rams for Bradford. Big time moves going on. Mariota will not be available, #Bears fans Why would he not be available? No one knows that now.
  2. I guess the Eagles aren't trading up for Mariota.
  3. @AdamSchefter 4m4 minutes ago Filed to ESPN: Rams close to trading QB Sam Bradford to Philadelphia for Nick Foles and draft-pick compensation, per sources. @AdamSchefter 9m9 minutes ago Haloti Nagta traded to Lions, per @aaronwilson.
  4. More I think about it. Saints are probably about ready to rebuild. They need all the picks they can get. Seattle is now spending a lot more money on offense, less to go around on defense. Fine with me.
  5. QUOTE (scs787 @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 01:33 PM) Aaron Leming ‏@AaronLemingNFL 1m1 minute ago DT Dan Williams also on #Bears radar. Oakland & NYG Giants also in on him. Expected to be cheaper than Knighton. (Actually from an hour ago, stole it from another board) There you go. Not a good pass rusher, but he is one of the better run stoppers in the league. Played over 400 snaps last year.
  6. I didn't think Packers were going to be able to keep Bulaga and Cobb. I'm glad they got that done. If they could sign one free agent, I'd like it to be Dan Williams. Really underrated NT. I'm surprised the Bears haven't been mentioned with him.
  7. @RapSheet: For #Packers OT Bryan Bulaga, it’s a 5-year deal worth an average of just under $7M per year, source said.
  8. QUOTE (staxx @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 11:30 AM) Indy sounds like they could be adding Andre Johnson and Frank Gore. That'll be a scary offense. And old.
  9. I think over drafting a QB in the first or second round is a mistake a lot of teams make. Taking a risk on a QB in the 3rd or 4th round is a lot less of a gamble. If that team needs a QB and has no one else. I think it's worth it. Petty is a little older most of the qb's that come out. Phil Simms was 24 when drafted. Had he been drafted, Tony Romo would have been 24, didn't start his first game until 26. Russell Wilson was 24 his first season. Flacco and Manning both turned 24 late in their first seasons. Petty won't fail in the NFL because of his age.
  10. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 09:51 AM) Bryce Petty is undraftable for me. He's already 24. No QB has entered the league via the draft at 24 and ever been successful. He also is extremely inaccurate which is #1 quality in a QB. He is also injured all the time. I like to sum up Petty as old, bad, injured, and inaccurate. That's just my opinion but taking Petty in the 3rd round would be a fireable offense for me. I don't think his age is really an issue. It's not like he is 29. Qb's have entered the draft at that age before and there have been plenty of qb who didn't start a game until they were 25 or 26. I think the biggest question with him is how much of his success had to do with the system he was in. He does have the size and arm to play in the NFL. He can also move around pretty well. I don't think taking a QB in the 3rd round is a fireable offense. If someone took him in the first round maybe.
  11. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 10, 2015 -> 09:35 AM) Hundley isn't short but yeah. Hundley is draftable because of his "skills". The only other QB I'd spend a draft pick on is Chris Bonner from Colorado State Pueblo. More intrigued by him than any of the other guys. Bonner would be a nice pick in the late rounds. Bryce Petty might be worth a pick in the 3rd round or so.
  12. Titans won 2 games last year. What does Cutler get them to? 4 or 5 wins. Is that worth 20 plus million and some decent draft picks. If you are going to give up decent draft picks, why not trade for Nick Foles. He's at least young and could maybe get better. Plus he's cheap.
  13. Adam Schefter reported back in December that because of the 25 million in guaranteed money, the Bears might have to package one of their higher round draft picks to be able trade him. That was three months ago and things may have changed, but it shows the the those guaranteed dollars weigh on a team.
  14. QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 9, 2015 -> 02:45 PM) I really have trouble gauging this whole Cutler situation. If he's moved, do the Bears immediately become the favorite for Mariota? It's probably the Eagles. It would take a ton for them to move up, but Chip Kelly has been doing some really weird things this off season, so it wouldn't surprise me. I would bet the Jets look at him as well.
  15. If the Titans GM gives up a 2nd round pick or a 3rd round pick for Jay Cutler and that awful contract, he should be fired on the spot.
  16. Fake accounts on Twitter that act just like NFL reporters are dumb. I guess the Packers didn't sign Bulaga.
  17. 49ers looked like they were going to be a powerhouse for years. Now they might be the worst team in that division.
  18. I know Willis has been dealing with some pretty serious foot issues. I don't know if that is why he is retiring.
  19. @Rand_Getlin Source: the #49ers are bracing themselves for the loss of LB Patrick Willis. Expecting him to retire.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 9, 2015 -> 07:53 AM) According to CBS Sports, the Raiders gave Rodney Hudson 5 years, $44.5 million. I honestly have no idea who that is, which probably suits the Raiders. He's one of the better centers in the league, but that is a crazy amount of money for a center. Bad teams will do a lot bad team things today. They won the off season!!
  21. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 6, 2015 -> 02:50 PM) Quarterback. Which one?
  22. If Marcus Mariota fell to the Bears would you want them to take him? I'm starting to think that might happen. That would be a tough call.
