Plus they could always move Tuevo to wing and bring up Danault to play 4th line center and have Kruger play on the 3rd line. McNeill and Hartman are two other players who might be options.
-
Sharp - Toews - Hossa Dano - Anisimov - Kane Panarin - Tuevo - Morin Shaw - Kruger - ? (Dejardins maybe)
-
Dano isn't some player you hope develops down the road. He is already an NHL player who had 21 points in his first 35 games. For the Hawks to have kept Saad at 6.5 per year, they would have had to gut the team. So long Shaw, Kruger. There would be no way you could resign Seabrook after this year. They would have been a top heavy team with no depth. Now you lose a really good player, but have great depth and you still have a young team.
-
@TSNBobMcKenzie CHI traded Saad because he was looking for 6 yrs with AAV of $6.5M. May have been an offer sheet coming tomorrow from a team with those #s. That would explain it. Sucks.

QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 30, 2015 -> 12:01 PM) ahhh why??? so he can provide good goal-tending at Rockford?? Yes. That's exactly why. You might need him in case of an emergency.

QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:39 AM) Sharp is going to be dealt soon. Florida? Jackets? Islanders? Maybe Oilers or Rangers as well. Sad to see Sharp go. I know it has to happen, but he was here from the start of this rebuild.

Did you say you are not a fan of Bowman? Also did you compare Bickell and Saad?
-
He will probably be a winger if they bring Richards back. If not he has always played center through his career. Toews TT Kruger Danault
-
I'd like Teuvo Teravainen at center.
-
Not sure about Richards. I bet he wants to come back and will probably come back cheap. They do have some better depth at center in the organization, so they might not need him.

This guy was wearing Rhodesia and South Africa Apartheid flag patches. It doesn't take deep digging to know what his political ideology is. -
Best Coach/Manager in Chicago sports history

1. Jackson 2. Q 3. Trestman Pretty easy 1-3. -
Sharp will be traded. You get rid of his salary and he will probably bring you back one of the draft picks they lost this year. Bickell might not bring back as much, but teams are going to always get excited about his size, so he shouldn't be that hard to move.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 17, 2015 -> 03:56 PM) And who gets traded. The wild card has to be Corey Crawford getting dealt. With the defense the Hawks have, would they be willing to turn the keys to the car over to Raanta and Darling? It wouldn't totally shock me if Crawford is traded, but I would be a little surprised. It would be risky to start Raanta or Darling. Could blow up in your face.

I wouldn't mind the Blackhawks bringing back Andrew Desjardins next. Not sure if they will have the cap space. I thought he worked well for them on the 4th line. It probably all depends on how much Saad gets.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 11:56 PM) Hammer over Niemi may be Bowman's best move of his entire career in Chicago Hjalmarsson was crazy good this series.

Duncan Keith is so much fun to watch in these playoffs. I'm not sure he is human.

He was the best Dracula. RIP.

Yet another "racial" confrontation with police, this time in
GoSox05 replied to caulfield12's topic in The Filibuster
Was that tactical roll he did in the beginning on purpose or did he fall and was just trying to play it off? He seemed to be pretty raged out. The other cop seemed to be doing fine just talking calmly with a group of the kids. -
They are getting ready to announce Fallout 4 in about ten minutes. Bethesda has been doing a countdown thing on the website. I'm ready for this.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 28, 2015 -> 02:32 PM) Didn't he miss last season with an injury too? I think it was the year before.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 27, 2015 -> 08:01 AM) Incompetent is strong. They took a chance on a guy that would be a quality starter that isn't a locker room problem. They gave him no guaranteed money and cut him as soon as there was an issue. They shouldn't be praised for cutting him but taking a flyer on a guy that knows the system who has never been charged with a crime doesn't make a staff with the best DC in football, an OC that will soon be a HC, and a proven winning HC incompetent. It just didn't work out. Wait, who are you referring to as the best DC in football?

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 26, 2015 -> 01:27 PM) I don't think they need to go overboard in their justification for signing a player who had accusations, but no charges, in the past. Doing so means that society somehow needs to be moral judges of their moves, which is nonsense. They're a business, not a church. I'm sure at a certain point, it would be a good idea NOT to sign Aaron Hernandez types. But people do dumb s*** and deserve second chances. Also, this is the hottest of takes: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2...abuse/27923539/ What a moron. The Bears should be held responsible for this guy being an awful human being? Really? And again, this dude will be the first to claim the NFL is excluding too many people and/or being racist when NFL teams stop signing guys with any sort of past because of the potential penalties for it. You are trying to turn this into some reflection of society or something. People are mad because the Bears signed a person who has physically assaulted women in the past and then within two months of being signed was charged with beating a women and child. Is it all that shocking that people would be mad about that?
-
The Bears look incredibly dumb with this signing, but I doubt it has any long term ramifications. George McCaskey really looks like an idiot. With all that "I talked to his parents and they said he was a nice boy" crap.

I usually head up to the McHenry Drive in a couple times a year. Late in the summer and early fall they do some cool horror movie stuff. Last year they did all three Back to the Future movies. I would go more often if it wasn't so far away, but we always have a good time.
