  1. Sports Mockery is awful. I would assume they are probably making this up. Also the comments on that article are disgusting. People are the worst.
  2. Also he is 36 and can't run. He will probably just play the slot for the Patriots.
  3. Yeah, one or two games for rookies and new players to get their feet wet, but that's about it. The other thing the NFL needs to act on is teams with crap fields. Late August and Heinz field is a mess. There was probably 3 or 4 players go down yesterday with non contact injuries. One of the Steelers beat writers said it's been an ongoing problem there. NFL makes 900 billion dollars a year and NFL teams play on high school quality fields.
  4. NFL Preseason is garbage. The NFL isn't going to cut it down anytime soon either. If I was a coach I would pick about 15 guys and never play them.
  5. They should make them wear shorts.
  6. Jimmy Carter says cancer has spread to his brain
  7. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 19, 2015 -> 05:02 PM) Great analysis! It's not really complicated: history shows that when you try to play nice and appease your enemy (or people who are acting in ways you don't like) they never see the appeasing act as some olive branch being extended, they view it as a sign of weakness. You'll note in this example with Iran, of course, that we're trying to play nice with them in an effort to curb their nuclear ambitions and yet the first thing they did was to declare that we're weak and that we should all still die. http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/07/21/...N0PV1B320150721 Now we have reports that the deal would allow Iran to inspect their own facilities and then report their totally neutral, independent findings to the IAEA. I have as much faith of that being a fair and accurate process as I do with the NFL hiring independent experts to talk about deflated footballs. I just think it's pretty ignorant to say that the situation with Iran is anything like what was going on in post World War 1 Europe or that every conflict with another country well end up like Nazi Germany. Article just uses dumb cliches.
  8. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Aug 19, 2015 -> 02:42 PM) I just read this (good read) yesterday. What timing given that side deal news: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/4226...-foreign-policy This is one of the worst things I have ever read. I had to read it twice, because I thought I missed the punchline the first go around.
  9. Really liked the movie Child 44. It got really bad reviews, but I thought it was pretty solid.
  10. You could argue that 7 of the top 10 qb's all time were taken outside the top 15. Unitas - Round 9 Montana - Round 3 Marino - 27th overall Favre - Round 2 Young - undrafted Brady - Round 6 Rodgers - 24th overall Pretty amazing when you think about it.
  11. Lot's of good qb's have been taken past the first 15 picks. Yeah, the guys like Brady are extremely rare, but there is a lot of good to great qb's taken past the first 15. Montana Marino Favre Rodgers Young Those are just the hall of fame guys. There are the guys that had really good careers. Cunningham Burnell Hasselback Fouts Bulger Lot's of other guys. Moon, Romo and Warner weren't even drafted.
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 17, 2015 -> 11:51 AM) Chargers just gave Jay Cutler...err Phil Rivers a ton of money. Amazing how everyone loves Phil and hates Jay, when they are essentially the same QB (not tools wise, but production wise). I will be delusional and hope that Jay and Phil play each other in the superbowl this year. Why...cause it would be fun They aren't even close. I thought Rivers should have won the MVP in 2013.
  13. I know preseason doesn't mean a whole lot, but it's nice to see rookies play well. I thought Brett Hundley looked good for the Packers yesterday.
  14. A lot of reviews are kinda saying the same thing. That is starts of good and then falls off the rails. Maybe the director was right and it the studio messed it up.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 01:28 PM) They took on Spiderman 2 years after Amazing Spiderman 2 fell on its face. I dont think they are worried about previously failed properties, especially one as big as F4 Spider-man 2 was just kinda bad, not really good, but not 9% on Rotten Tomatoes bad. It also has the top selling Marvel superhero. Outside of Batman, I think Super-Man is the highest selling comic. These Fantastic Four movies(this one and the previous two) are historically awful. With characters that probably aren't as popular as they used to be.
  16. The list of players the 49ers lost this year is crazy. They will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games this year.
  17. I don't even think Marvel would want to touch this one for a while. Maybe ten years down the line.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 7, 2015 -> 09:11 AM) Josh Trank is implying that the studio messed with the final cut of Fantastic Four, and his cut is better It's probably a bad sign when a director rips his own movie on opening weekend. I like FF, but this will probably be the last movie about them, maybe forever.

QUOTE (shipps @ Aug 5, 2015 -> 05:22 PM) Can anyone recommend a good record player? I see a bunch of different Crosleys sold in a lot of places and their reviews seem to be pretty good and they are pretty reasonably priced. The best reviews I have seen on RP's seem to be the Audio Technica brand. Crosleys are kinda gimmicky. They are portable or look cool, but generally don't sound very good. Audio Technica is good way to start off, if you want a home record player.
  20. Fantastic Four is getting killed. Not sure if I was going to see this one, but doubtful now. Then again two of the reviews I read said it wasn't funny. So it might actually be good.
  21. Not really a fan of Hilary Clinton or Martin O'Malley. Jim Webb is awful. I think Bernie Sanders is the only other one running. He would be by far the best candidate running, but he will never raise the money that anyone else does.
  22. I heard they do 500 million abortions every year, maybe even every month. Alex Jones told me.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 2, 2015 -> 08:11 PM) Well, they just paid Bobby Wagner. So they must plan on paying everyone http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13363697...tract-extension Probably means Russell Okung is gone after the year. Lynch salary is going to double and so is Jimmy Grahams. So some players will be gone. John Schneider has done a good job with the cap. He for the most part has avoided free agency which is always the smart move.
  24. Don't know if this should be under movies or tv show, but the new Wet Hot American Summer prequel on Netflix was amazing.
