  1. @JayGlazer 4m4 minutes ago Scoopage: The Panthers have just agreed to a trade for Bears DE Jared Allen
  2. QUOTE (LDF @ Sep 28, 2015 -> 10:43 AM) Phillip Danault and Mark McNeill for starters..... Phillip Danault is recovering from hip surgery. Not going to trade him.
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 28, 2015 -> 10:01 AM) Honestly, I think it's the crap offensive line play league wide. Peyton is now behind garbage, wilson behind garbage, Newton behind garbage, etc etc. Then Brandon Weeden looks good behind the leagues best o line. Yeah, offensive line play has been going down hill. I don't know why. Not sure if it's because D-line play has been so good and they haven't caught up yet or are colleges not producing good offensive lineman because of the type of offenses they run.
  4. There was some pretty awful QB play this weekend. I know a lot of it was because of injury, but it was hard to watch.
  5. Bears actually had a good game plan in the first half. Kept the game close and didn't turn the ball over. They were only down 6-0. I just didn't get some of the punting in the second half. When they were down 20-0 and it was like 4th and 2. Just go for it. Punting does nothing. It was like the good and bad of John Fox yesterday. Team played well in a tough situation, but when it came time to go for it on 4th down or run a trick play, he just punted. Played it safe.
  6. This game will probably be awful, but it would be all time great if the Bears pull this off. They really have nothing to lose. I would run some weird offense flea flicker plays and on defense I would bring 7 or 8 guys every play.
  7. "We were the best defense in the league, but Jay Cutler ruined it, and now we are ranked 30th."
  8. So would that rape kit have been in police evidence? Which means someone went it and got it? Am I following this right?
  9. Oh, cool an article by Pamela Geller. Sure this will be good.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 10:46 AM) Seahawks open as 14.5 point favorites. From what I can find, the last time the Bears were two touchdown underdogs was December 6, 1998 @ Minnesota. Steve Stenstrom vs. Randall Cunningham and Randy Moss. They did not cover. I'd love to see the Bears win this game, but I'm not sure they are going to score a point.
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 10:14 AM) Pagano has 25 wins under his belt in a little over 2 years along with 3 playoff wins. They hardly made the wrong choice in keeping him. I don't think Pagano is a bad coach, he just isn't Arians. Who I think is top 10 coach in the league. What he did with that Arizona team last year was amazing. Drew Stanton and Ryan Lindley at QB and they still won 11 games. He is 32-14 as a head coach.
  12. They probably should have kept Bruce Arians, but I understand is was a tough time with Pagano having cancer. I don't know how good a NFL coach Brian Kelly would be.
  13. Colts OL is pretty awful. Rest of the team is kinda old, but that is what happens when you draft poorly. There has been rumors that Pagano is gone after this year. GM should be gone too.
  14. Even Jeb Bush has that look on his face like "what the f*** is happening".
  15. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 16, 2015 -> 01:49 PM) When is the last time Rodgers threw a pure interception? On the road - He had two vs Seattle in NFC Championship game. Both were probably his fault. One might have been on the WR running wrong route, but other was just a great play by Sherman. Home - 12/02/2012 vs Vikings. Dumb flea flicker play that he threw deep but was short and Harrison Smith picked him off.
  16. I like the Falcons. They have the offense, just need to have the defense take another step. Looked better last night. Plus that division is awful.
  17. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 15, 2015 -> 10:54 AM) They'll win the division for sure. I don't think they can win a Super Bowl without him though. And that's the goal. As long as #12 is playing QB they are fine. 16 players on IR in 2010.
  18. I liked Teddy Bridgewater coming out of college, but he looked lost last night. He doesn't step into throws. Seems like a lot of his passes are bloopers.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 03:23 PM) Rodgers has not had an excellent OL during his career. Not even close He has the past few years.
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 12:20 PM) Except most of the larger markets cannot stay up late enough to watch the second game. Yeah, that's probably why they don't do it. Second game tonight won't be over until like 12:30 east coast time. They could have them overlap for an hour or so, but NFL probably doesn't want to compete with itself.
  21. I like the two Monday night games. NFL should scrap the Thursday game and just do two Monday night games.
  22. Just one game and against an awful football team, but Marcus Mariota made some really nice throws. He has a really quick release, reminds me of Rodgers a little.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 10:36 AM) I dont know how that guys brain isnt complete mush, much less that he is able to keep getting starting jobs He did make a great play yesterday. He had a huge legal hit that caused a fumble. He kept his head up and didn't launch himself. Just a hard hit and jarred the ball loose. Guarantee at some point in the year we will hear about him trying to kill someone and himself.
  24. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 10:28 AM) Yeah, I'd imagine your run d may be terrible which may have contributed to bears success. But there's been many a year where the packers run d was terrible but Bears decided to try to pass into it and get sacked to high hell. Yeah, not having Morgan Burnett and Letroy Guion yesterday really showed. Probably their two best run stoppers. Overall though it was lack luster. Packers really need to find a three down inside linebacker. The lack of inside LB is just killing them now.
  25. Still can't believe Brandon Meriweather was starting for the Giants last night. How does that guy keep getting starting gigs.
