ease up peoples. it's not a pointless thread. teams make these sorts of decisions any time they deal prospects for rental players. this is just phrased in an extreme way. obviously no one can guarantee us a championship, so dont bother pointing it out. The point is to find out whether you would chase the dynasty or just get one for sure.

hit and run with Uribe batting... Widger on first. why? it's not like Uribe is some great contact hitter.

Uribe doesnt lose games for us when he goes 0-for Ozuna's defense, however, could. last time i saw him in the IF, he didnt look nearly as adept as our starters.

as i've said before.... the people here who hate this idea fail to see: we really need a RH long reliever. it's not just an excuse to keep McCarthy... it's a need area. as we saw last year with our 5th starters, the organization really has no one else who is ready.

Crede is one of those guys who has problems all over the place with his plate approach. yet he somehow gets clutch hits. i dont get it... his clutch-ness just makes you wish even more that he'd put some consistency together
