  1. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:39 PM) I might be mistaken but didn't the Sox destroy Porcello last year? Porcello faced the Sox 1 time last year, got the win, 6.2 innings, 3 ER.
  2. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) Yeah that may have been a slight exaggeration He didn't have a lot of help from either his team or from the umpire, that hurts those numbers too.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:22 PM) No matter the outcome, I thought Sale pitched fantastic today. Way better than he did against Cleveland. Couldn't really get swings on the offspeed stuff today unless he hung it.
  4. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:14 PM) de aza NOT given an error? wtf? I think it's safe to conclude that the official scorer believes that the park is currently being hit by a tornado.
  5. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:07 PM) aj wouldn't be terrible... at least doesn't strike out and could move the leadoff man over. But "Getting on base" is not something AJ is going to be good at, long term, even if he's swinging a solid bat right now.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) Yeah, gotta get Morel out of that 2nd spot and find someone who can get on base for 3/4/5 Who is left out of this lineup? AJ?
  7. Nice work Dunn, although I think you could have been running harder.
  8. I'm just going to start using the bathroom when Konerko is up. It's getting boring watching him. It's a hit every time!
  9. I think Sale is dropping his arm slot a little bit when he throws a breaking ball
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 02:24 PM) Something he's going to have to focus on this year, as he won't get to beat up on a lot of lefty hitters like he could coming out of the bullpen in specific spots. Both the one Young hit and the one Cabrera flied out on were just too high. He just threw a good one to Raburn. Down low, Raburn just didn't swing.
  11. QUOTE (MAX @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 02:13 PM) Hawk keeps calling Dayan "tanks". Its rather annoying. We're about 2 months from "Tanks for the memories".
  12. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 02:13 PM) Mercy! Miggy just missed it That ball carried a lot too.
  13. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 02:08 PM) Haha, something about Sale looks right in that uniform. Ventura wears it well.
  14. QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 12:55 PM) I'm already sick of IU. My new hated team next year. Yay! People hate us again!
  15. Yay! As always, thank you WGN for showing the opening video!
  16. QUOTE (Chet Lemon @ Apr 15, 2012 -> 12:11 PM) I'm operating under the premise that people will not vote for the guy on the top of the ticket because of who he chooses to be VP, but will vote against the top of the ticket based on an egregiously poor VP choice. Sandoval, while unknown nationally, has a resume worthy of the selection, and the fact that he is qualified doesn't look like a play solely to win hispanic voters. As demonstrated last time, it's not just "Qualifications" that matter, it's also an understanding of national policy issues at a level that doesn't make the candidate look like a fool. How is Sandoval on national issues? Any idea how that would translate?
