QUOTE (SpainSOXfan09 @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) Gavin - Sale - CQ - Santos mopping up - Enough offense - Brent!

The bullpen stopped being fair a while ago, now it's just cheating

QUOTE (Real @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) Sox lose 6 then win 6, OK. Longest winning streak of the year none the less, need to sweep this team though IMO, any updates on the Tribe/Tigers game ? PPD or they still waiting it out? Think the O's would trade Hardy for Beckham, or is Hardy a FA in the offseason? I know he was on the Twins last year We've only won 5 so far. And the Os just extended Hardy.

Yea, there it was

Give him one more on 3-2

Andino figured out not to swing at it

And here comes the slider

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:44 PM) Freaking impressive performance by Sale, about 369 days after his MLB debut. It stopped being fair a while ago.

Wonder if they will make contact with Sergio tonight.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:24 PM) I really wouldn't mind pitching around Reynolds here. Sale's stuff kinda floats right into his wheelhouse. Nope. No chance.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:21 PM) Just don't make any mistakes to Davis here. Hey ginger, did Gavin hurt his hip or something Herm came out after he fielded a ball them threw to first, but G still got the next out. Didn't seem to have any Ill effects.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) That doesnt make any sense. The complaint was that Sale/Thornton have been overused. The facts are as follows: Last 7 days. and vs lhb Sale 2.1 ip, .220 ba .588 Ohman 3.2 ip (not counting today), .225 ba 610 ops Thornton 3 ip, .317 740 So of the choices, Sale has the best stats against lefties and has been used the least. You have 4 outs to get to Santos and Sale has only pitched 2 innings in the last week. You have to bring in your best there. I could understand if the choice had been Ohman over Thornton, but Sale should have been used there. Didn't we use Ohman?

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:10 PM) Im not sure how you could even come close to predicting how I would use a bullpen. But I can guarantee that in a situation where the tie run is on 3rd and 1 batter to get that im putting in my best lefty. Not sure that 1/3 of an inning is going to put anyone on the DL, especially because Sale has only pitched 2 innings in the last 7 days. When you need 1 lefty and only 1 lefty, that's ohmans job and calling card.

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 09:02 PM) What did he do? Diving quick stop with the runner at 3b and the infield pulled in. Saved the lead.

Brent again!

Wow that was fast. And Ozzie even had the pen up behind him!

QUOTE (Real @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:46 PM) Zero reason to bring Floyd back out unless you feel bad for the O's on the blown call edit: lol, ozzie brings him back out. haha! and somehow he gets 2 quick outs.

Morel hammered that ball again.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:37 PM) well he was caught stealing. Please explain the difference?! Blown call, quite clearly from video. Guy was safe easily, ump still called him out.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:35 PM) AJ throws someone out and Buckie Show walter don't like it Aj didn't throw anyone out.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:34 PM) Not good. I'd call that blown call pretty good.

Showalter has a good argument face.

QUOTE (OilCan @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:05 PM) I loved Millenium. Homicide. When Law and Order first started...not so much the current run. Hill Street Blues, definitely. What's Happening. Good Times. As a kid, it was the Transformers. Used to wake up to watch Saturday Morning Cartoons at about 6. Love the Superfriends back then. Got plenty of yelling at my dad for waking him up. If you're anything like me, find an hour and blow through the transformers movie and maybe an episode or two on the youtubes. "This is the end of the road Galvatron!" What a cast that movie had. Nimoy, Judd Nelson, orson wells, Eric idle.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 08:13 PM) When is it Dunn's turn to start making adjustments? February

Hell of a job G!
