  1. The Bears just seem to always get better as the season goes on. Weaknesses turn into strengths, strengths stay strengths and he'll let the team bend but they never really seem to break. I think about Lance Louis, like where the f*** did that guy come from? He's playing like the best OL I've seen on the Bears since John Tait or Big Cat. Chris Conte, DJ Moore, Matt Spaeth, Corey Graham, Brian Iwuh, Nick Roach--these guys are marginal talents that have found a way to really succeed and become a vital part of this team. His roster management is almost perfect (minus the love affair with Omiyale that lasted a season too long). He makes a lot of something out of what looks like nothing.
  2. Guys, is Lovie Smith a very good coach? I'm afraid to believe he is, but I feel like he's converting me.
  3. Detroit has been sliding back to reality for a few weeks now, nice to see the Bears be the ones to really start driving nails into their coffin. Lions are not very good.
  4. Man, I cant help but think if we had the Saints and Packers back to back at this point in the season. Would love to get another crack at that part of the schedule.
  5. Yeehaw, defense really came out to play today.
  6. Offense has to get back in a groove and we'll be fine.
  7. Lions/Saints would be quite the game.
  8. More than that. The NFC is very strong this year. Related note: if the season ends today the NFC North and AFC North would both send 3 teams to the playoffs. The North's are dominant.
  9. The Eagles have to win out to get to 11 wins, which will probably be the requirement for an NFC playoff berth this year.
  10. Win that one and we are looking really good. Our schedule gets kinda easy after the Bolts.

I just finished Battlestar Galactica. It was pretty cool. The women on the show, particularly Roslin, Starbuck and #6 really made that show tick.
  12. This s*** is getting way too old
  13. OTHER: Ronald Reagan.
  14. Lions losing keeps that wild card nice and close. Good time for the Bears to get a bye, our next 4 games are all challenges.
  15. “I have people on the street, saying to me, ‘I can’t believe you left us,’ ’’ Guillen said. “Look, those guys didn’t want me. I didn’t leave them. They didn’t want me back, and I understand their point. But don’t tell me I left here. “Since last year, this was about integrity, it was about loyalty, it was about do they want me here. Let me say it my way: The Sox were saying, ‘Yes, we want to f--- you, but we don’t want to marry you.’ ’’ What is so untrue about this statement.
  16. Really impressed with Peppers today. He played a great game in the rush and against the run, and went the whole game on an injury that most people thought would have him sitting. Guy has actually lived up to that contract big time here so far, great addition.
  17. He has to be in. If you just take a step back and think how good he is we should be debating whether he is 1st ballot or not.
  18. You gotta wonder what we found in OBL's compound.
  19. Angelo deserves some credit for Sanzenbacher.
  20. .500 after 6 games does not end this season. The division is pretty much GB's, but I feel like the Wild Card is going to be really open in the NFC. Detroit is ripe for a losing streak.
