Tommie Harris is an absolute animal in the middle. And he always looks like he is having a good time, which is pretty cool.

If you were the Colts...
Injuries are so random though. Harrison and Wayne could break their legs on consecutive plays in the first round game. Heck, it could happen in practice. Tough decision.

Bulls
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 12:13 PM) I knew Tim Thomas would be awful and he wouldn't fit on a Skiles team. Come on, the guy has had world class talent, and half assed work ethic since he joined the league. It's not too hard to see where this would have ended up. This is how I think it will end up if Peja comes to the Bulls. I think Skiles is really gonna get on him about defense and he is going to try and get out.

Sweetest Female Vocals
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 12:03 PM) LOL. Liz Phair HAS to be related to or married to some record exec. There is no other explanation. Her albums arent really that bad at all. Her live performances are awful though, she really benefits from multiple track harmonies in her albums, and you just cannot give the same effect live. She is sexy in a bad girl way though , Alot of her music is about getting laid.

Michael Irvin busted
QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 11:54 AM) I'm sure he's been told not to talk about it at all. If so, declining any comment was the right thing to do. Excellent point. Although his advisors should have told him that "No comment" works way better than “Um, I’ll get back to you on that, first I need to check the legality of it.”

Stones at the Superbowl
QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 11:50 AM) You may think I'm a boob, but Janet Jackson may have something to do with them being cautious. I think you are a boob. But in reality you are correct. The music that kids listen to nowadays isnt as PC as older acts, making the older acts a better(and safer) choice.

Stones at the Superbowl
I saw the Rolling Stones on tour this past fall at Soldier Field, let me tell you this: they have NOT been reduced to nothing. This isnt a band that has been on the State Fair circuit that has some name recognition. The Stones still sell out and put on a great show. Also, I think Ashley Simpsons performance at the sugarbowl and the subsequent reaction to her performance(if you dont remember, think of the entire Superdome booing her) has scared the people who produce the Superbowl away from contemporary acts. They are just using oldies but goodies because they cant go wrong. Chubby Checker in 1985, anyone?

Look what I found

Bulls
QUOTE(LDF @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 10:26 AM) all the hype for him and he never pan out even in ny. so this is not a player who didn't like the coach or the team. it has to be something more. now do we let him stay at home and collect the money or what? ref to peja, i have read on several accounts that pax really like him in a bulls uni. so what gives??? i agree that we should look at center. i am sorry to say this, but i think chandler may be out of his element as a starter. who do you think is a good option. has nene developed yet to a player we can depend on? I have also heard that Pax loves Peja. I bet it is hard not to like a guy who can score as easy as Peja. I was just giving my opinion on him, I dont know any insider info. If the Bulls could get Nene, that would be fantastic. Although the guy has had some problems with the knees, when he is healthy he is quite a load in the paint. Although I wonder what would happen to the starting lineup should Nene come to the Bulls. Would Nocioni, Sweetney, or Chandler go to the bench? Personally I would say Chandler, but the Bulls arent going to pay Tyson starter money to be the 6th man.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 09:26 AM) Steve Phillips. Im sure ESPN is scrambling to put together another mock press conference with Phillips proclaiming that the Angels are interested in Paul Konerko.

Latrell Sprewell prepared to sit the season
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writ...11/18/sprewell/ I wonder what Sprewell thinks of the 3 year $21 million dollar contract extension that he turned down last year because it wasnt enough to feed his family? Hmmmm, Veterans minimum in one hand.....21 million in the other.....tough choice spree. Good thing you dont have to make a decision about it anymore!

Bulls
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 29, 2005 -> 05:27 AM) Looking at that list from Orlando's point of view (Battie, Cato are expiring contracts, and we'll hav plenty of $$$$ to spend), I'd hope we go after Nene at least to fill our need at the C position. But the Bulls should at least get Mohammed and Peja if things play out the way they should. I think Peja would be a disaster on the Bulls. Skiles demands defense, and Peja does not play defense. Plus, Peja is suspect in the playoffs. Just MHO

Bulls
I will admit I thought he was going to be the steal of the Curry trade, Just another reason why potential is such a dangerous word. Its really unfortunate that Thomas is such a pile of s***, because he actually has some game, and he could have really helped the Bulls with his size, athleticism and scoring ability. But he just wants to collect his $14 million dollar paycheck and exert minimal effort, so he has no place on the Chicago Bulls. I am fine with this though, because the Bulls still have Sweetney, and the Knicks number 1 draft picks for the next couple years.

Tyson Chandler possibly out
QUOTE(rangercal @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 05:56 PM) Ok where are all the Tyson Apologists? He did not come to camp in shape? That Contradicts just about everything all the little Tyson fans have said on this board about him. I like Tyson Chandler, but I cannot defend him on this. His excuse was that he got married. Unfortunately, that coincided with getting paid by the Bulls.

A's sign Esteban Loaiza
I am stunned that Esteban Loaiza continues to parlay his 03 season with the White Sox into the heavy contracts he has recieved from the Nationals and A's. Those contracts would seem to fit someone who had continued success, not a one year wonder.

Michael Irvin busted
QUOTE(spiderman @ Nov 28, 2005 -> 04:18 PM) Does anyone actually believe his explanation ? Im sure Michael and his lawyer believe in his explanation. And they are generally good at making a judge believe in his explanations. But everyone else who exists? No, they dont believe in his explanation.
