Some one mentioned earlier last week that Sox scouts were at the BOB in Arizona. This doesn't really mean anything, but if the Sox were to pull off a trade with the D'Backs I'd like to see the Sox get Lyle Overbay, who's salary right now is only $300,000. He's left handed, has power and could easily replace Konerko at first. With that said here's Overbay's stats so far this year: 115 AB's .278 3 HR 13 RBI and 16 BB. Another guy I'd like to have is a young pitcher on their club named Brandon Webb In 6 games started he's 2-1 with an E.R.A. of 2.14 and has 35 K's in 42 innings pitched. Not sure what the D'Backs would want back, maybe Konerko? Last time I checked I thought they were thinking about dumping some salary, anyone have anything to say about this? CWSOX45

Yeah I mean it's all Crede's fault, besides the fact that he hit that home-run. He did throw the ball away, I mean jesus the least he could have done was hit another home-run for us. We should just lay off of the other guys on this team. Hell baseball isn't a team sport, it's all about a third baseman named Joe Crede. Don't give me that s*** Roman, c'mon. I don't know I'd definately have to think for a while about Crede for Beltran. Beltran is a young, proven, speedy switch hitting centerfielder. Those aren't easy to come by. I would really have to think about that if I were GM Yet we lose him after the season, guranteed with Boras as his agent. I'd rather hold on to Crede in the long run. CWSOX45
