The only deal I really think would benefit the Sox in the future would be your first two deals. I don't like the third one, just because of the fact that Cattalanato is basically another Tony Graffanino, except that he starts for the Jays. CWSOX45

If you ask me I think the Sox should try to pull off a three way deal again with the Yankees. The Yankees have a lot of good pitching prospects on there 40-man roster that will most likely never see the Big Leagues. For example two guys in AAA are rated pretty highly in the Yankees farm system, being Jorge De Paula and Dan Borrel. Both of these guys were ranked 7th and 8th in on the list of prospects in the Yanks farm system last year. If we do happen to acquire one of them or both of these guys we could trade them to Florida for Pierre or Encarnacion, since they're always looking to dump salary for prospects, or trade them to Cincy for Wily Mo Pena, or another one of their outfielders perhaps. Even though Wily Mo Pena isn't a lefty I still think he could help the Sox down the road. Anyway that's just my take on it. CWSOX45
