Hell, when looking back over the year I've seen more "I hate Rick White" and "DIE RICK WHITE DIE." on this forum that I thought I'd start an official Rick White Sucks thread. Anytime Rick f***s up, which seems to be a lot. Just add to this thread. I'll start it off. f*** YOU RICK WHITE! :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou CWSOX45

You meant 1-13 right? Hell, I wish we would go 13-1, but I was just bull s***ting. Yeah put me down for 1-13. CWSOX45

13-1. LMAO, I really don't think that, but hell I can always dream. CWSOX45

DIE DEFENSE DIE! When Buehrle gets 5 runs it should have been automatic. Shoulda, but didn't. We expect a lot of stuff that SHOULD happen to the Sox, yet it never does. CWSOX45 -
Same here, I'm ready for a fire-sale now, wtf are we waiting for? CWSOX45

Good question, I'd like to have Jerry answer that question, and knowing Jerry he'll answer with this. "Rick has been struggling, but he will come around." CWSOX45 That's Jerry's quote after every game. I can't wait to see what he says after his ass is finally fired, even if it is in about 10 years. "My team struggled, we had some good years, and we had a few mediocre years, but I still think the city of Chicago got to see some great baseball." GRRR :fyou Jerry. f*** this whole team. CWSOX45

The date is May 26th, I CWSOX45 are adding onto this thread because I am in disgust with this f***ing team. Mark Buehrle should have gotten his third win tonight, but instead will be credited with a loss. Rick White still blows, nothings changed. Unfortunately it's only May and it looks like I'll be adding onto this thread for a long long time. Stay tuned, y'all might see another reply in this thread tomorrow. CWSOX45 -

All off of Wood? CWSOX45

This kid is amazing, played last year in A for the Kane County Cougars, I think he won pitcher of the year down there. CWSOX45
-
I'll take number 4. f*** KEN ROSENTHAL! Thanks! CWSOX45

Seems like the A's organization has it all figured out, from their successful major league team, to their advertising, and to their minor league farm clubs. (I work for the Cougars, are 35-17 in first place in Midwestern League.) CWSOX45

Cerb, I've been keeping track of him on my sig as well. There's no need for him to remain in Single A any longer. CWSOX45

Tony G! lol, man we are sooo screwed if we have to rely on a utility player to play short. CWSOX45

I wouldn't say Konerko is untradeable, I just think we won't get jack s*** for him. CWSOX45

Yeah, isnt making the playoffs the ultimate goal of every big league team? Really, the Devil Rays have never been anything but a failure. And since 2000, we havent succeeded either... It's sad but true, the D-Rays have some good years ahead of them with their young talent and Lou Pinella as manager. In fact I'd have to say their future looks A LOT brighter than ours does. CWSOX45
-
I chose other because I can't decide, most of the guys on that list should probably go. I'd love to keep Colon, but it most likely won't happen. CWSOX45
-
To me failing to not make the playoffs each year should be considered a failure. Especially this year, this team isn't showing the talent it used to have either that or all of our players are just a bunch of guys who had fluke years. CWSOX45

Someone mentioned Steve Finley. I'd package up some players for Finley and Miguel Batista in a heartbeat. Kill 3 birds with 2 stones(LH power, CFer, more starting pitching). If we could somehow talk a team like Baltimore into taking Konerko, that would be great. The Dbacks would give Finley away for nothing as long as you paid his salary. As far as Miguel Bastista, I don't think he's that good of a pitcher and I believe we have a better answer in Jon Rauch or even Josh Stewart. I like Batista because of what I saw in the 2001 World Series. IMO...he's a solid #4 or #5 starter. Either him or John Patterson. If I could take one pitcher on the D'Backs excluding Johnson and Schilling I'd take Brandon Webb. This kid has excellent stuff. Patterson would be good too, but the D-Back's won't deal either of them unless we can give them something good in return........which we can't. CWSOX45

If we could somehow talk a team like Baltimore into taking Konerko, that would be great. Finley is too old though, we're most likely going to be re-building again. In that case I'd rather just have some prospects. CWSOX45

ONLY hope is to clean house entirely Sadly it's come to that point. Chicago White Sox AL Central Champions 2007 CWSOX45 Right now, I think ALC champs 2007 is a very optimistic view... In about 4 years which is terrible considering the talent we have right now. It's a shame that it looks like we'll have to wait about 4 or 5 years to even contend again. CWSOX45

Run, run, run, run, run! Always running from the truth! This team sucks. Just face reality and it wont hurt as much when theyre still here two months from now. Two months from now, it aint gonna bother me that were still under .500 because Im expecting such. Two months from now, everybody whos running from the truth thinking were still in the race is gonna jump of a building or something. We lost two straight to the Tigers. Who in their right mind thinks this team has any chance? In 2001, we were 20-30 after May. The offense had struggled (scoring only 215 runs, or approximately 4.3 a game) and the pitching had struggled as well(allowing 264 runs, or approximately 5.28 a game). We then turned it around and played .560 ball the rest of the year, going 63-49. Do the first two months of this year appear to look very much like the first two months of 2001? If I had to give you an answer....I'd probably say yes. I'd actually prefer to see what is going to happen in the next 4 months then to say that we'll suck because we're playing like s*** now. This team, right now, looks like s*** and they are playing like s***. If someone disagreed....they should be slapped. Then again....what happens today isn't necessarily going to happen tomorrow, let alone a month or two from now. You think this team will just go into the Cubs series with no heart whatsoever? Highly f***ing doubtful. And howd they finish in 2001? With 83 wins and 79 losses? No, that is unacceptable... Roman, you think that was an unacceptable record? You should, and I agree with you. If you think that was bad though, I have a feeling you're not going to be pleased with our record at the end of this year. 2000 95-67 2001 83-79 2002 81-81 2003 ? - ? Anyone notice a pattern here? Ya know, that's a thought...Unfortunately, we don't have anyone TO trade that would get us anything in return that we shouldn't be keeping, so we're kinda in a Catch-22 here. f***!!! I'm sure we could get something for Konerko. We'd probably end up getting the wrong guy if KW is still GM. CWSOX45 -
He's as good as gone, if were Jerry Manuel I'd just resign after this series. Losing 2 out of 3 to Detroit is a disgrace. CWSOX45
-
Dammit, we really have to stop making predictions. Look where it gets us, lol. CWSOX45
