  2. Not sure if this was already posted in this thread. Pretty cool tool for figuring out delegate math. http://www.slate.com/features/delegatecounter/
  3. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 02:58 PM) what in sams heck are you talking about, angelasdaddy said Obama is giving up after Texas, that is a fact He probably won't even wait for all of today's results to come in. I'd bet he'll have a press conference in the next hour or so to announce that he's dropping out. I mean why bother when the writing is on the wall?
  4. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) Interesting article showing that even if Clinton wins ALL 16 remaining states, she probably goes to Denver behind Obama in pledged delegates. Add that to the big 50 for Obama mentioned earlier, plus the fact that Obama is so much better off in national polls against McCain... Clinton looks to be in desperate straights. Interesting mention of the article you cited.
  5. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 01:51 PM) Got a link on those? This site lists all superdelegate endorsements. Scroll down a bit to find todays. http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/01/su...egate-list.html
  6. And I expect the Obama campaign to announce a huge number for their February totals some time later this week.
  7. 2 more superdelegates declared endorsements for Obama today. I can't remember the last time Hillary received one.
  8. This is the best Sox news I've heard in a very long time.
  9. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 11:06 AM) From DKos: Guess my post at 8:59 was not clear.
  10. Does McCain seal the deal today?
  11. QUOTE(shipps @ Mar 4, 2008 -> 09:02 AM) Good riddance. Indeed.
  12. Brokaw states that Obama has 50 superdelegates ready to endorse.
  13. QUOTE(AngelasDaddy0427 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 08:57 PM) Ok... Well let me give you my justifications: In Texas she will carry the White Supremacist vote. That will allow her to squeak by. I live in Ohio and everyone I talk to seems to think the Clintons came down from heaven and now that they caught Barak "lying" he has no chance here. RI is too close to her territory. VT is the same as RI. Now Barak dropping out might be a little dramatic though. So I'll back off that statement. However I think the super delegates will use this all as an excuse to give Hillary the win. Also I am honest when I say I hate Hilliary with a passion. She's evil. She's a liar. And if Obama loses it does nothing but set up a huge victory for McCain. I pray I'm wrong and Obama wins. But I just don't see it. I suggest you stick to baseball commentary.
  14. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 03:38 PM) I was saying overall percentage, but now that you mention it, that won't really work. I have no idea. I think in Delegates, Obama will win by a small margin. Let's put it that way. I have a feeling the popular vote will be pretty close, maybe +5% for Obama. I'm guessing he'll do quite well in the caucus. I think I read somewhere that 67 of the Texas delegates will be awarded based on the caucus results. I'd say 37-40 of those delegates will go to Obama.
  15. QUOTE(AngelasDaddy0427 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 03:12 PM) All I know is that Obama might of had a slight chance before he had his campaign contact Canada. Now that it's a proven fact he'll be lucky if he only loses both by 20 points. Are you serious? I figured you'd predict the following for all 4 contests tomorrow: Clinton 99% Uncommited 1% Obama 0%
  16. Predictions: Texas: Obama +10 Ohio: Clinton +7 RI: Clinton: +1 VT: Obama +24
  17. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) She'd have to win both BIG to be the frontrunner. Actually if she won both big that would pretty much make it a tie.
  18. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) ... it might be Obama that loses 11 in a row. Up next: Caucus in Wyoming (Obama owns caucuses) and the Mississippi primary (Do i need to explain that one?)

    QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 11:59 PM) Up in your posting area there's an pull down menu that says "Insert Special Item." Click the arrow, you'll see Insert:SPOILER. First, highlight your spoilered words, then pull down the special item box and click SPOILER. It'll create [spoiler ] [/ SPOILER] around your text. Which is the shortcut of applying a black background with white font.
  20. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 10:05 PM) Getting tons of calls from the Obama campaign. Tons. I'm sick of the damn phone ringing. Unless you tell them who you are voting for they will keep calling.

    QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 12:42 PM) where did you go for that? The Vic Theater on Sheffield just south of Belmont. In the city. It was a double feature. Talladega Nights was the 2nd film.

    Caught "Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story" at the brew and view last night. Very funny flick. Definitely worth a rental.
