  1. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 08:05 PM) If the Sox score in the 9th and close it out who gets the win? Ozzie
  2. Poor Gavin has to throw a perfect game every week in order to get a win.
  3. Ugh. Mary Mattlin in the front row behind the Sox dugout.
  4. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 06:21 PM) Is it just me or does Nats Park seem massive? That's probably because they're using the Hubble telescope for balls in play.
  5. BTW, watching World Cup action live on the EVO is awesome. Flawless video.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 10:07 AM) New banner looks good, with the exception of Danks. He looks like he's in a weird position. He was actually taking a dump when they took that photo.
  7. Apparently a white EVO will be available next month.
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 08:45 AM) Someone posted last night, the SP has like a 2.00 ERA over the last 10 starts or something. That's the reason they're winning, and it has nothing to do with anything else. And our hitting and bullpen is still mediocre. So there's no reason to think that once we start playing good teams again that we'll keep playing over .500 ball.
  9. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 05:56 AM) Germany to win 2-0. Oops.

    QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 03:35 PM) Currently 56 reviews up for Toy Story 3 on rottentomatoes and everyone of them is positive. I'm positive I won't be seeing it.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) There's a difference because government shouldn't be in the role of telling companies how to go about paying their liabilities (claims) BEFORE they do something to warrant the liability. We all now BP f***ed up and is responsible, but it's not the executive's role to tell them they HAVE to set up a special account just to pay out claims. They should be able to pay out the claims however they see fit. Where does Obama get the right to tell them "set 20 billion aside RIGHT NOW?" The government should only get involved in that way when BP acts against the law. If they fail to fully compensate people (as determined by our JUDICIAL system) THEN you can fine them. It's government only responding when it HAS to, not because it CAN. You seem to assume that either way, BP is "fined" by the government for 20 billion. And I get that all Obama is doing is asking for an escrow account, but I think there are better ways to go about this. Pass a legislation that requires they keep X amount of profit available for potential payments. Who knows. There's a million other things they can do than to, yet again, usurp any idea of individual commercial rights and just tell them what to do. Maybe i'm not explaining it very well. But to me there's a clear difference in the government preemptively demanding this, and waiting until BP shows that it won't do it before levying a fine or some other penalty. What the hell are you even arguing about? You're upset about this escrow thing??! Why? Is your uncle the CEO?
