  1. Carlos is a straight up 1 year fluke. What a buster.
  2. Right down the middle for strike one.
  3. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:32 PM) Kevin Gregg is coming in.....come on I hate that f***ing guy.
  4. Quentin will get a 3 run blast to win it.
  5. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) Along with the least productive #1, #6. #7, #8, #9.... Most of them have been more productive in other ways such as stealing bases and knocking in runs. He's doing absolutely nothing. Which manager would continue to bat him 2nd after putting up numbers like that for 5+ weeks straight?
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:25 PM) I think even Walker's biggest supporters would be up for a change. Yeah right. There are still people defending Walker to this day. It's insane.
  7. Loving Overbay's Gameday picture. He's totally Morgan Spurlock.
  8. We have the least productive #2 hitter in the league. He's putting up pitcher numbers.
  9. Stop criticizing Gordon fellas. He'll come around.
  10. Who's in? Kostay? If so, yay. :/
  11. Paulie a late scratch. Sore neck.
  12. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 6, 2010 -> 04:29 PM) Donny Lucy has 4 XBH this year (3 2B, 1 HR) in 7 G (18 PA). Juan Pierre has 0 XBH this year in 27 G (118 PA). You have to go back another 28 games in 09 to find his last double (August 18, 2009). He had 3 triples last September, but no doubles or HR. So our everyday #1 and 2 hitters have combined for 5 XBH and 5 RBIs in 203 at bats. You could probably randomly select 2 random NL starting pitchers and have at least that many XBH and RBIs given that many ABs.
  13. QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ May 6, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) Number 1 bust of all time? Jamarcus Russell released http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/1335595...akingNewsHolder Finally! The tumor has been removed.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) That's basically a very good summary of it. Somehow, there was a faulty price processed for P & G. Lots of electronic systems have settings that say "sell if it gets to this price". A faulty low price would trigger all of those sell orders. Then, once people realized something was wrong, people would go in and start buying. Aren't there any controls in place to prevent such a thing from happening more often? Something is fishy here.
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 6, 2010 -> 03:53 PM) If saying the Twins are not as good as NY and Tampa is saying they're certain to fail then so be it. On paper our SP didn't look the most formidable going into 2005. Sometimes the numbers on paper doesn't translate to results. You should know that being a fan of the 2010 White Sox.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 6, 2010 -> 02:55 PM) No, it's not really fair. The Sox are never a sexy preseason pick anyway. But most who knew anything about the club knew that SP was a potential strength. Did anybody know they would be THAT good? Of course not. You can't predict s*** like that. But you can somehow predict that Minnesota's will ultimately fail this year.
  17. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 6, 2010 -> 03:32 PM) I don't know about that. We could still use one of them as a DH with Jones in the OF. No kidding. We get rid of two power guys in the lineup this past off season and we're supposed to be content with replacing them with one?
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) Yes. Damn. I wish I bought 10K shares at the moment it went to .41.
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2010 -> 02:36 PM) There's something wrong with how I'm set up. I can't put the cursor underneath. It sucks. One of the mods suggested a few things, but nothing has worked. Stop using netscape as your internet browser.

    QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ May 6, 2010 -> 02:08 PM) ehhh my cars used to get broken into on a weekly basis when i lived in logan square and humboldt park and gunshots rang out once in a while at night... but youre correct for the most part, as long as you keep it towards the east side in the north you cant really go wrong. Really? How long ago was this? I've lived here for the past 3 years without a single problem. The neighborhood is changing quite rapidly. Think Wicker Park circa the mid to late 90s.
  23. What the heck just happened to the DJIA?
