  1. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 06:08 PM) White Sox Baseball: Where no one's held accountable for anything....ever. Maybe someone needs to go wake up Reinsdorf. Maybe he'd can a few people.
  2. Every 7th inning a lucky fan is randomly selected to pinch hit. The results would be comparable to what we've seen so far from the team.
  3. Not watching on TV. Has Jake been shaking off AJ as much as the last outing?
  4. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 04:26 PM) The reason for optimism would be that the Sox have a great pitching staff, and there is just no way the offense will remain this bad. Even if they are the worst scoring team in baseball, they would be better than what we are seeing. The team is just unwatchable right now. I'm really trying but I get ill whenever our offense is up.
  5. I'm amazed that anyone still has optimism when watching this team. This offense is epically terrible. I can't recall seeing a team this inept.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 02:55 PM) No team with Scott Baker and Jon Rauch as their #1 starter and closer is going to run and hide from anyone. Baker with another impressive victory last night. The Royals have been hitting this year and he shut them down.
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:35 PM) According to some, the season was over 5 games ago. Why even bother? It's human nature for a lot of people. Don't take it too seriously or let it get you down. I know it's annoying to read.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:27 PM) What's sad are the gamethreads this year. J4L, did you really expect people to stay very optimistic with the way this team has played? Honestly? This offense is Houston Astros bad right now.
  9. And the only reason I'm bringing up attendance is because we all know how Kenny uses that as an excuse not to get players at the deadline.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:18 PM) lol. Because our attendance is always so consistent. I'm talking Montreal Expos type of attendance this year.
  11. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:17 PM) In 2007 I just stopped watching them. After consistently having leads and watching them get blown by our terrible bullpen was too much for me. No matter what the score was, I knew there was a good chance we would lose the lead. At least now I know that when the other team scores 4 or more runs the game is probably over Probably? We have lost every game so far where we've given up 4 or more.
  12. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:17 PM) He was filthy! Just have to tip your cap! These are major league pitchers! Something like that. Just wait till the weather warms up!
  13. We are going to have our worst attendance in years if this offense keeps playing like this.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:13 PM) The bullpen. Who cares about your bullpen when your offense averages .02 runs per game.
  15. Grienke getting hit now. Another game back after tonight.
  16. f*** you Kenny and Ozzie for assembling this horse s*** offense.
  17. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:07 PM) Nah, we're still good for about 20 more runs then 2007, We're about 2009 bad. We're hitting .200 as a team.
  18. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:03 PM) There is a very very real possibility that we are 6 GB after this weekend. This team is starting to look like 2007 bad.
  19. Every night I look at the batting average column in mlb game day and I laugh.
  20. Soon to be 0-7 when scoring 3 or less. For some reason I was led to believe we would win close, low scoring games because we had pitching, speed and defense.
