  1. Anyone know who is selecting which questions to be used? If it's NBC news, you guys have nothign to worry about.
  2. It comes down to perception. A lot Obama supporters see the Obama attack ads as 'truth' but criticism of Obama = smear. When in reality Obama has run a campaign that is equally as dirty. The truth is Obama did start a political campaign at an admitted terrorists residence. Now, I could understand a counter with a reasonable explanation such as "Well, Obama barely knows the guy, and if you are a politician in Chicago you are going to have to deal with some complete crack pots to get your foot in the door". I mean, Ok, so... -McCain is too dumb to use a computer (but he actually can't due to physical injuries) -McCain "looked the other way" rather than investigate Jack Abramoff and a Republican "Culture of Corruption." In fact, McCain's investigation led to a prison term for Abramoff - McCain wants to send little babies to Iraq (oh but that wasn't Obama, right? just his surrogates. but it sure is ok to link McCain to attacks he had nothing to do with) - Keating 5, ignore the fact McCain was cleared of charges - The media's insistence that anyone not supporting Obama is racist (but, but, Obama had nothign to do with that! well you sure like to link McCain to Rush Limbaugh) - a DNC email accuses McCain of running "as far to the right as he can" on immigration and of "aligning himself with the most extreme elements of the Republican Party." Yea right. There is more, don't care to go over all the Obama campaign attacks. This altruistic view of the Obama campaign is not in touch with reality, but neither is McCain, right? He's old and senile, ok, thanks for the info. The Obama campaign has not been running on issues any more or less than McCain. This whole election is messed up. Have fun with it. My apathy level is so high I don't care if we elect Barney the Dinosaur, Sarah Palin, or the Tooth Fairy. Maybe have Palin debate Barney to see if they can reach a conclusion if he actually ever existed. *end rant*
  3. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) It's a serious issue that cuts both ways. fine with me to investigate all of these donations/bribes, be they going to McCain or Obama.
  4. QUOTE (Cknolls @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 10:57 AM) Name: HKVKV, K VKN K V City: KHVKHVHKVHKV State: HI Employer: GH Occupation: GF Another interesting donation is: HDUSAHFD, DAHSUDHU He (could it be SHE?) gave $7,597.59 in July and August of this year. Works for: CZXVC Occupation: ZXVZXV Now if this is the level of fraud being reported, what the heck is buried in the over $200 million in WALKING AROUND MONEY? i know obama supporters will write this off just as some fluke. but this is a serious issue.
  5. QUOTE (Texsox @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 01:53 PM) I've heard some people not voting for Obama because he's Muslim and/or black. I've yet to hear someone not voting for McCain because he's white. Sad but true in 2008's America. It's wonderful we've come so far that he has a chance, but it still is not an even, race neutral contest, and probably never will be. not this again.... yea, the elections in recent history are almost always close because the country is completely polarized. but of course it's close this time because everyone voting for McCain is a racist. Actually, it's not really that close from what I can tell. Obama could win in a blowout. makes perfect sense, though, McCain supporters = racist. sells more newspapers. run with it!
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 01:10 PM) I have already heard the first rumbling that the bailout wasn't big enough. maybe if we just keep throwing in more and more bailout money things will get fixed.... i suppose the bailouts would have to eventually end, like when our national debt hits 30 trillion and our currency completely collapses.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 01:52 PM) I put all my money into Ramen Noodles. They will have a great Q4. haha a wise investment
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 5, 2008 -> 09:46 PM) So, I'm not sure I like it, but if the McCain campaign is going to go after the Ayers junk, then I guess this is "Fair" in the Rovian sense. The Obama campaign seems like it's going to make an issue out of the ol' Keating 5 scandal. I'm sure they were planning to go with a Keating 5 attack no matter what, just like the Ayers attacks were inevitable. The closer election day gets the more accusations will fly. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big late 'scandal' to break, maybe something unexpected.
  9. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Oct 5, 2008 -> 05:56 PM) Sox are due for slugfest. Lets take this next one in a laugher

  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 5, 2008 -> 05:45 PM) Is it just me or if Harold started yelling he would sound just like Chris Rock? haha
