QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 09:33 PM) I was lucky enough to be at the game, and from our angle, Nate's shots were of very high difficulty which some of them were "are you fking kidding me" shots, especially those bang shots late in OT. I think he hit like 10 shots in a row or something, he was locked in, late in the game when he had the ball, the whole stadium knew he was going to score. Reffing was BS in this game. Was there some contact? Yes, in some plays. We are in the f***ing playoffs for sake, let them play through minor contacts. At least from what I saw, we didn't get the same treatments as the Nets did. Even some of the calls we got were make up calls for the horrible calls from before. I love at the end of the game when we knew we had this one, the whole crowd was chanting "Ref you suck!", and rightfully so. It was quite obvious, and I hate to say it, that the NBA wanted the Nets to win that one. It's never been more obvious, anyway. The insanity of Nate down the stretch and the ineptitude of the Nets threw a wrench in their plans.

What a brutal list.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 03:30 PM) This draft had Eifert and Ertz, who were considered 2 of the better TE prospects in the last few years. Well I think Eifert is better than Bennett, so Eifert would be the starter. The good thing is, these posts will be here next year, I have no problem standing by my opinions. I'd love if someday you'd turn just one opinion into a Flapship post, you know, that site you own half of, instead of rambling on the web.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 10:01 AM) Holy s***. Live blogged the draft (will be replayed during a rain delay). THEN I showed up late for work. Think I had too much fun. Article should be up on Monday. It's hilarious. http://flapship.com/the-2013-nfl-draft-fans-experience/

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 12:45 PM) WalterFootball and CBS did round 2 mock drafts based on yesterday's picks. both project the Bears drafting Te'o I'd be shocked if he made it to pick 20 in this round.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 12:34 PM) Why is it every year the Miami Heat have entire teams blow up in front of them so that they can walk to a title, while they never seem to have it happen to them? Hell Wade himself used to get hurt on a regular basis. Dwyane Wade's knee is becoming a bigger concern after he admitted that he's "not even close" to full strength. Wade noticeably grimaced in the second quarter of Game 3 and was never quite right afterward. "I'm not where I want to be," he said. "I'm still able to push through certain things." It's now a tender right knee for Wade, and while it will take something more than soreness to keep Wade sidelined, the Heat will have extra incentive to sweep the Bucks and get Wade as much rest as possible before round two. Updating a previous item, Dwyane Wade (knee) is officially listed as day-to-day. Per beat writer Michael Wallace, Erik Spoelstra "would not say" if resting Wade for a game is an option, so obviously it's time to be a little concerned regarding Wade's health. He's shown a keen ability to get the proper treatment and keep himself healthy through the postseason in prior seasons, but Wade's injury should motivate Miami to go for the sweep in Game 4 vs. Milwaukee. Ray Allen or Mike Miller could start in Wade's place if he is forced to the sidelines. Meanwhile, Metta World Peace returned from the same injury that Westbrook has (and surgery) in 13 days before - all is not lost.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 11:55 AM) Sounds like Westbrook tore his meniscus and is done for the playoffs. Congrats to the Miami Heat on their 2013 NBA championship. This will be a great chance for James Harden to step up and be featured and show the world he's a stud. Oh wait. KevinMARTINLOLOLOLOL

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 11:45 AM) If Emery is to be believed, he wasn't moving down if Long was still on the board. This is who he was targeting all along. Says he's an athletic freak. So was that f*** we drafted who jumped out of a swimming pool.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 01:41 PM) This Rays line up is pretty weak. I would expect a low scoring series. They need to call up Wil Myers already.

Someone simply has to ask Hawk why HE didn't have TWTW.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 04:40 PM) James Baldwin and Danny Wright say hi. Or Jesse Crain, wasn't he like 10-0 his rookie season pitching in relief? Something like that...when a lot of the results were blown holds or blown leads that resulted in wins. Nathan Jones, last year, etc. Billy Koch had 11 wins in relief the year before the Sox got him. Beane must have kept his TWTW.

Meanwhile, the Flash was already covered wonderfully in the short-lived 1990 tv series. I remember as a young 7-year old being obsessed with it, even though it probably sucked.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) Yu Darvish is now my favorite non-White Sox pitcher. He's a fantasy baseball stud this year. Given every pitch looks the same out of his hand, he's going to be a fantasy stud for many years.
