The insanity of Nate down the stretch and the ineptitude of the Nets threw a wrench in their plans.

Meanwhile, the Flash was already covered wonderfully in the short-lived 1990 tv series. I remember as a young 7-year old being obsessed with it, even though it probably sucked.
