QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:29 PM) I guess then the NBA shouldnt have a season because Miami is going to win the title. My guess is that Miami would not be favorites against the field. IF they sign LeBron, the only thing that would get in their way would be injury.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:20 PM) lmao. dude, if Lebron goes to Miami it's a wrap. The Bulls failed miserably. This organization a complete mess right now. IF LBJ goes to miami, they will win 3 of the next 4 titles, if not all of them.

QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:16 PM) I feel like I'm waiting for the Powerball drawing tonight. A little part of me envisions what if my numbers hit. But overall know my life's not changing tonight. Lucky you, "The Decision" isn't even until tomorrow night.

QUOTE (T R U @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:13 PM) Even if he doesn't I like LeBron with the Bulls and LeBron with the Knicks better than Wade and Bosh in Miami.. LeBron comes off as very competitive and you can tell how much he cares about winning.. hes gotta know that going back to Cleveland right now isn't going to get him any closer to a title.. Woj has been careful to release any bulls***, and he said this morning that LeBron is not coming to Chicago, and that it's down to Cleveland or Miami. Thus, I have zero hope.- NBA Offseason Thread
jgoff670 The word is that Lebron will show up with headbands instead of caps for his "Decision" Show. The corny-ness continues. WOW HES REALLY GOING TO F*CKING DO THIS- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (T R U @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 12:06 PM) With Wade and Bosh in Miami now, I dont understand how LeBron can go back to Cleveland.. they got no chance with the way the East is shaping up so far Yeah, why play against them when he can play WITH them? I just wish Woj hadn't told me the Bulls were out of the running for LBJ this morning. The way the Bulls present themselves to these players must be completely turning them off.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:51 AM) Off the top of my head I'd rather have: Lebron Kobe Anthony Durant Williams Dirk Paul Rose Wade Roy Nash Rondo Gasol Duncan (for a couple years anyway) Pierce (for a couple years anyway) No on Pierce, Duncan, Nash, Rondo, Roy, yes on the rest. You didn't list Dwight, whom I'd take over Bosh.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:49 AM) Yeah this isn't sour grapes at all. Bosh isn't a superstar but he is still a top 10 player in the NBA and is clearly a vastly superior player to Boozer. Hell ,Kobe was 10 games under .500 in the three years between Shaq leaving LA and Gasol arriving in LA. It's not sour grapes. It's moving on... we can't sit here and boohoo over these guys partying in Miami. The Bulls have a legit future superstar in Rose as well as a highly-coveted center, mad cap space, and solid role players in Deng and hopefully Asik. Get something done and compete with Wade and Bosh.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:47 AM) And now everyone's turning on Bosh. I'm actually turning on him because of some ridiculous things he just said in that interview.- NBA Offseason Thread
AdamZagoria "I think KG, Ray and Paul when they all went to the Celtics back in 07, they made that sacrifice and it worked out for them." -- Bosh Chris, you're an idiot. What sacrifice have they made and what sacrifices are you and Wade making? Did you just use the term "sacrifice" when Wade is going to get 130 million and you're going to get 100? WTF What a sacrifice.- NBA Offseason Thread
AdamZagoria "I'm a winner. Dwyane's a winner and we're gonna bring winning to Miami." -- CBosh Chris, you are f***ing over 100 games under .500 on your career. I'm actually pretty glad we didn't get this turd. Give me Boozer and a solid SG and we'll see what happens.- NBA Offseason Thread
FisolaNYDN Somebody help me out here. Does this mean Wade picked Bosh and Miami over his two sons and Chicago? Yes. Yes it does.- NBA Offseason Thread
Wade basically just said that Bosh drove him to Miami. I don't buy that s*** for a second. Wade, Chicago hates you now.- NBA Offseason Thread
WADE COUNTY WOOHOO!!- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:15 AM) And they still won't lead the league in attendance. Nope. The Bulls will. Again.- NBA Offseason Thread
I will tell you one thing. If LeBron signs with the Heat as well, the NBA will become unbearable for the next five seasons. It'll be one, big, major suckfest of the Heat on ESPN and TNT for an EXTREMELY long time.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:07 AM) I think I was just so sick of what I saw for 5 years from 1999 to 2004 that I don't ever want to go back to that again, that's no entertainment. That said, the Bulls do need to play this smart. They have to have enough to re-sign Rose and Noah. Yeah, we probably won't be offering too much bc I'm sure LeBron was the only way JR would pay the luxury tax, most attendance in the last 10 years be damned.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:44 AM) The trio of Deron, Boozer, and Mehmet Okur were winning 50+ games a year in the West. Rose, Boozer, and Noah won't be a contender in the East? Let alone Deng is still capable of solid defense and 17/8 despite his woeful contract, Taj Gibson and Omer Asik would make for great depth on the front line, and we have the cash to add a gunner and more.- NBA Offseason Thread
Guys, it's time to move on... hopefully Boozer will get signed by the Bulls, maybe they'll even get him at cheaper than max depending on what New Jersey is offering. There is still a team that can be built here, and if LeBron doesn't go to Miami the East will be pretty wide open. We still have a 22 year old guard who can ascend to the levels of Wade sooner rather than later.- NBA Offseason Thread

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:26 AM) But I'd be a little worried at Boozer's numbers this season in a contract year also. Last season he really struggled, and so many people in Utah wanted him out, albeit he only played 37 games. Last year he played 78 games. The dude is a legit low post scorer who unfortunately plays no defense, but next to Noah would be decent. We were all aiming high, but signing a 29 year old, 6-10 guy who put up 20/11 on 56% shooting wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Those age 33/34 seasons would probably be rough, though.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:00 AM) I don't think there's any doubt, especially if Asik is joining the Bulls. Noah and Asik will provide fantastic defense in the post, and Boozer would be a great rebounder and solid scorer. Bulls would be able to compete with anyone in the East in my eyes. Rose Allen Deng Boozer Noah That's nasty. I agree. The Bulls have to pull off Boozer + Allen and they can still be legit (assuming LeBron to Cleveland).- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 08:55 AM) I am not even sure what that means. He's in yer brains. Stealin' yer thoughts. - NBA Offseason Thread
