  1. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:43 PM) just throwing this out there, my friend who lives in socal, huge clips fan, he loves taj gibson... says he is gonna be a baller, and this guy's opinion i respect a lot as a high IQ NBA fan I agree with your friend, as does LeBron James, and as should a lot of executives. He was really quite solid in the 2nd half of his rookie campaign.
  2. Not that this is new or that he's contributed anything to this process, but oh what the hey. Chris_Broussard Bosh has not softened stance on Cleveland at all. Looks like he won't be a Cav. I win by not linking it.
  3. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:42 PM) IraHeatBeat Yes, this will go on forever. The Heat will be playing its opening games next season with a lineup of Chalmers, Beasley and cap space. 3 minutes ago via web cry me a river, f***** I like that tweet. It's funny.
  4. Kyle ftw. Yeah, why did I just justify our hate of dweezy. Dude can't play. If there were a designated fielder, he'd be a quality player, though.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 06:04 PM) B.J. Upton's actually had a whole season where he was really good. That never happened to Felix Pie. Cough Corey Patterson Cough
  6. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:40 PM) There is no overrating that set of tools. He literally might be the most physically gifted player in all of baseball. Too bad his head is in a whole other place. Cough Corey Patterson Cough
  7. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:32 PM) Probably unless the field is saturated, which takes alot I guess I looooove the Sodfather.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:29 PM) D Wise is a quality big leaguer. The hate on here borderlined on insanity. The hate on this board brewed from our insane manager who decided to make him the opening day starter in centerfield and hit him leadoff. It wasn't his fault, but it brewed into hate of Dweezy.
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 07:12 PM) Hope they get it in It's been coming down just west of Chicago for a solid 45 minutes. It'll be delayed for awhile. Anyone hear an ETA? From weather.com I see it should lighten up around 9:30-10 and have a pretty wide opening from 10:15 til 3am... think they'd delay it that long?
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 06:29 PM) If they want Noah + Gibson + picks + exception for Bosh, I'd want a guard in return as well. Like Jarrett Jack. To be perfectly fair to GarPax, the reported offer on the table is a damn good one (Taj Gibson, James Johnson, CHA 1st, Trade Exception). I don't really see why they want a deal done with Cleveland so badly to land JJ Hickson and Anderson Varajao, if the Bulls have that offer out there. Colangelo is playing hardball and demanding Noah when the offer on the table is a damn good one to begin with, and it's one that I don't think Cleveland nor Miami can beat.
  11. twithersAP LeBron and group of Cavaliers playing high schoolers. Kids beat the Kinda Kavs in first game. Clearly, this will convince LeBron that the Cavs don't have it and he'll sign in Chicago.
  12. QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 06:19 PM) The key is Toronto. If they're willing to deal Bosh for Chalmers, picks, and cash... then Wade and Bosh are off the table. I have a feeling that they ARE willing to do that though, wouldn't you think adding a couple firsts wouldn't be a big deal? Colangelo is holding out for Noah, I think. Also, I believe the offer the Bulls have on the table of Taj + JJ + CHA 1st + Trade exception is easily as good if not better given their roster makeup after Bosh is out of town. If that deal gets it done, the Bulls will assuredly add their 2012 1st, right? (given they can't trade the 2011)
  13. Ric Bucher @Aykis16: Can we agree on this? That you need to stop tweeting today before you hurt yourself. (Agreed. Taking a break now.) LOL. That's right you are!
  14. I could have posted that the Bulls could just toss Taj Gibson + 2 future 1sts + trade exception: Done too!!!! Bucher is annoying.
  15. @Ryan_Jody is the trade a done deal? Not done. If it was, I'd be writing it for espn.com. I was giving an example of what Tor wd/cd do. Bucher posted this, btw. He's an idiot, and no, it's not a done deal.
  16. Bucher posted that s*** 26 minutes ago, I'd think if it was legit it'd be elsewhere?
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 06:11 PM) http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap/ They took Bucher's tweet as the real deal...
  18. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:56 PM) If Bosh goes to Miami I'll be shocked, I mean he's been harping "Wants to play in a big market" this entire time, according to just about everyone. Chicago > Miami market-wise, so what's left: $$$ How does Bosh get the most money? Sign & Trade from TOR Which team can actually pull off a S&T with Toronto? They already said they don't want f***ing michael beasley Agree with all of this. It's up to the Bulls to pull off the Deng to Portland for Przybilla/Bayless, then Noah+ to Toronto for Bosh, then to call Wade and leverage good roster + the fact that we have his children. ...heh, we have his children. It's like NBA Ransom.
  19. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:53 PM) You really think they're going to take less than a S&T ? Wade might get his cash still if he brings Bosh to Miami...
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:52 PM) Bosh and Wade it is. The only question is where...
  21. @WojYahooNBA - Cavs officials are confident of two things now, multiple sources say: Chris Bosh won't play for them next season, but LeBron James will.
  22. No TCQ tonight. Er hast ein hurted knee.
  23. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:43 PM) Well the thing is, he actually said earlier that they know they would dominate...so I'm confused... Well this clearly means the Bulls are now leading on Bosh and Wade.
  24. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:38 PM) so when garnett and allen joined pierce in boston they didn't know they'd play for a championship? They must have been pissed. They were acquired via trade.
