  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:23 PM) I think we all gave up Lillibridge for dead and never believed we'd see him in a White Sox uniform again. I sure did.
  2. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:22 PM) Do the Sox really have to give him up to get someone? He seems like he could be a monster. He's hot, but let's not get carried away.
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:17 PM) Breaking news! Gotta love it.
  4. KCJHoop Based on talks with league people, here's final LBJ predictions: 1) Cavs; 2) Bulls; 3) Heat; 4) Nets; 5) Knicks.
  5. ESPN must be the only news media outlet out there. They are generating hype. It's been New York today, it's been Cleveland today, it's been the Bulls today, now the 5 minutes of a bulls*** flight, then pull it back, and everyone is confused.
  6. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Miami insiders as well as LeBron apparently flying to Miami tonight to meet with Riley. Wade and Bosh might be at the announcement as well. It could all just be rumors, but the Miami insider has been 100% so far. ESPN actually ran the LeBron flying to Miami news across the bottom line for about 5 minutes before pulling it back tonight at around 9:35. I'm sure it's BS. Or maybe you're right. Maybe LBJ wants to be the third highest paid player on someone else's team. Yeah, that fits the profile.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Where's all the Miami optimism coming from? Absolutely nowhere.
  8. Here is my night before D-Night prediction. 6. LA Clippers: No. Are they even involved in this? 5. New Jersey: No. Not in Brooklyn yet, with an abysmal roster. LBJ has been too close lately to sacrifice the extra $30 million to go there. 4. Miami: No. He's not going to Wade's team to be the 2nd highest paid player. 3. New York: Serious contender. Bright lights, bad roster, lots of $$. 1b. Chicago: Serious contender. If he wants to win, he goes here. It's as simple as that. 1. Cleveland: Home. He'd never live down leaving them. They can offer the most money. Roster would be largely the same as one that keeps losing. I have it as a virtual tie going into the final day with Chicago and Cleveland. The question is, does he think the Jordan shadow matters, does he want to win, and can he rip the hearts out of his home state? BOLD PREDICTION: Bulls acquire a shooting guard some time tomorrow, pushing LBJ to have no choice but to come here and win 3 rings in the next 5 seasons.
  9. New NBA salary cap just announced, $58.04 million. Small increase from last season, but way above projections from a year ago. Now we have even more cash to work with!
  10. I was just thinking that the best thing really for LBJ's legacy would be to be the guy who eventually gets the knicks a couple rings.
  11. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:03 PM) Once again I'm just passing along information, damn people No one's mad at you, but i do want to kick JA in the balls.
  12. It's bulls***. That report is bulls***. The Bulls have the roster. It's up to LeBron.
  13. Why is this coming out right now? To s*** on Chicago that's right... no surprise from ESPN and I actually don't think that has any merit.
  14. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:59 PM) JA Adande said on ESPN 1000 that the Bulls bombed their presentation to Lebron What?? What does that mean?
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:57 PM) Excuse me, I thought it was DA, but it is from Sam Smith. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/smith_boozer_100707.html Hopefully he is correct. Every little bit helps.
  16. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:53 PM) that's what Aldredge is reporting David Aldridge's article says 5/80... who knows. It's all good.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) Wow 5 and 75 is even better... Where'd you hear this?
  18. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) Take it for what it is worth. Personally I don't know how that is really that great of a move? I think we need a 2 guard that can shoot long range and I don't see Rip being that guy. Well, Rip would then be guarding the other team's best guard, which would be nice.
  19. QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:46 PM) Do the Bulls have to make another move to pull a LeBron signing, like a Deng trade or do they have enough for James now? They have enough right now.
  20. Chris Reina CR_Reina Expect Bulls to front-load Boozer's contract to help with the luxury tax for when Rose and Noah are on new contracts. DUMBEST TWEET EVER
  21. Zoom brought up the idea of Deng for Rip Hamilton if we get LeBron, and I really like that.
  22. KCJHoop Bulls have not been told by anybody from LBJ camp that they're out of sweepstakes. http://bit.ly/cnKjFS
  23. Boozer, in 44 playoff games has averaged 23.5 points and 12.5 boards.
