I didn't get to see either game this weekend, but have heard good things about Kaner. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year and take that next step.

I have a deal out there offered (don't know how to get it to be looked at) to the Falcons where I downgrade at ROLB but get NIU alum Larry English and a needed backup DE.
-
Alright, decent enough game. Cutler was a little erratic again, and got screwed with a weak INT while getting sacked. Peterson was the story with 100+ rushing and 100+ receiving yards with 3 TDs. The defense showed up this time around, which is promising. Glad to see BD joined!

Thanks for waiting b****es. Playing my week 3 game now.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 08:32 PM) Steve, sent you a ridiculous trade offer. Check it before you go to Vegas. AJ, I checked it, and I contemplated it for a good while... in the end I rejected it for a couple of reasons. 1. Cutler's mobility vs Palmer's: I need a guy who can get me out of trouble, because I tend to wait that extra second to get my fastest guys open. 2. You win up the middle: Trading my best DT, for a downgrade to mediocre would be bad for me. 3. The overall age of your offer: I loved the idea of getting Ware, but I have three young, talented linebackers, all age 23 or younger, who have speed, very solid talents already, and A's for potential, so I see no reason to break that up for a deal I don't absolutely love. The ages of the fellas you offered were 29, 27, 27, while the ones you would have received would have been 26, 22, 27. Considering I think we have some dedicated players who are going to want to see this through the 10 years we get, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. If you wanted to talk about the deal but not involving Cutler/Palmer, you'd have yourself a deal.

Played the second game. It was possibly the ugliest game in NFL history. Look at it.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 05:40 PM) You are the Hester screen. I remember from playing you. It appears you stuck with it if he had 18 catches for under 100 yards. I will do better stopping the next time. I have already pointed both of those out in this thread. Playing AJ was hilarious. The first game, he was the Bears, slants and the Hester screen all day long. He won by a field goal. The next game he was the Bears again and he dominated me. As I learned how to call audibles, and made a "no-Bears rule" it became simpler to beat AJ because I just took control of the guy who was on Hester and hit him within 5 years. I won the next two games. And AJ, yes, I LOOOOVE to give you s***. I'll get my 2nd game in tonight. Hopefully the AI starts making it harder on us.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 11:36 AM) I think you play the me as well Steve. And Steve if you play your week 2 game, would you mind if some of us played our week 3 game while you were gone? It would only impact trading. No, I absolutely don't care if people play the week 3 game, I just wouldn't want to move to week 4 until I can play my week 3 game, which probably couldn't happen until Sunday night. Good to hear I play you; I'm glad the schedule fell accordingly.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 11:05 AM) you sure that's not taxesand fees? Certain. The first click to go view the prices would show it. It wouldn't be after you go through check out and all that fun stuff. At least from Chicago to Vegas, bing.com is incredibly inaccurate.
-
I'm going to have to get up on like 4 hours sleep to watch that game on Friday at some location in Vegas.
-
Bing.com is useless. I was signed up there to get updates when prices were low from Chicago to Las Vegas. Everytime I'd get an E-mail, the information would be wrong. You'd click the link that says a certain price and it'd be over $70-$90 more expensive per ticket. On a side note, said Vegas trip STARTS TOMORROW.

Oh you and your editing.

QUOTE (hogan873 @ Sep 30, 2009 -> 09:43 AM) Which is fitting since many of the balls he pitches get parked. For the motherf*ckin W.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 29, 2009 -> 05:40 PM) How old is that photo? You know she's 48 years old. It's pretty old, I had that up in my dorm room in 2002, and I know it was old then. Sometimes I think I married my wife because she looks a lot like a young JLD.

You got it. And yes, this league is badass. I can't wait to play Washington... and hopefully indy in the AFC Championship Game. You better get some new moves AJ, after that evening of playing you I know all you have is slants and screens, the rest of your game is trash! Oh, and you can't stop DeSean Jackson, you can only hope to contain him! I can get in one more game tonight if it's moved to week 2 before I head to Vegas for the weekend. Can we have a weekend hiatus before heading to week 3?
-
Well, the Raiders have mad rush defense, so i was only able to net 80 yards with Adrian Peterson and a damn solid O-Line. I'm confused though, I set my depth charts and for some reason DeSean Jackson found his way out there at corner at one point. Weird. Anyway, ho hum, Cutler 5 td passes, 3 of those to Jackson including a 77-yard streak bomb. PS, AJ, sorry I couldn't hang around to play one.

Looking at the games that have been played (again, on the Web right now at work... i just love this)... you kicked the s*** out of the Jags, AJ. 18 receptions for only 83 yards for Devin Hester? Looks like someone went slant-happy!! In other news, the Redskins dominated the Giants, while the Bears had a very close shoot-out. I'll definitely get my game in tonight so we can move forward. I see Badger still has to play as well.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 29, 2009 -> 03:41 PM) I think trading with cpu is a bad idea but if everyone wants it we can do it. I would suggest not being able to trade draft picks then. Also, the quicker everyone plays their week one game we can sim the cpu games to week two. Last time I was on there I was the only one who has played my week 1 game and earned a hard fought victory against the packers. I'm playing my game this evening and am hoping to destroy the Raiders... I will be out of town Thursday - Sunday so will have an unusual hiatus in my ability to play which will be something you won't have to get used to. The Raiders post an interesting matchup with a very good offense around Warner, Ward, Lynch, Haynesworth and a very good secondary. Needless to say I'm scared but I'm just going to run Adrian Peterson all day (away from Haynesworth) and hopefully I can go 1-0.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 29, 2009 -> 03:42 PM) why are they playing a doubleheader??? game has no effect on the playoff race, let the 2 teams play 161, and save the fans the trouble of having to watch one more game $$
