  3. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 05:26 PM) Royals take a 1-0 lead in the 7th. Rios had a great pitch to hit and popped it right up. He sucks. but here comes vmart with 2 on, 1 out, and this guy is just nails w/RISP

  6. Never got the impression that Ozzie was a big Walker fan.
  7. QUOTE (ChrisLikesBaseball @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 09:42 AM) All of the Tigers fans I run into seem to remember these two years pretty clearly. They're not counting any chickens before their eggs have hatched I don't know about that - go over to Motown sports and you they're already plotting their playoff rosters. They don't fear the Sox one bit.
  8. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Aug 30, 2011 -> 09:32 AM) I spent 5 minutes looking at data and came up with a team in every year from 2006-2009. The Twins fell even further back mid-way in September of that year, 7 back in the loss column around 9/12.
  9. score some motherf***ing runs!!!
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 29, 2011 -> 05:53 PM) I'm sure he's tried the other way Oh yes, he'll throw it over the top on occasion. Just not with any regularity.
  11. why is this offense so pathetic at home?
  12. Yeah, don't listen to anybody telling you to start throwing over the top. Just keep side-arming it.
  13. not good - they should be DESTROYING Slowey.
  14. The Angels radio color man (Mota) went off a little bit last week about Beckham and his swing. He says everyone was crowning him when he first came up but some of the Angels coaching staff was startled by how "quick" his swing was. Says he's always been too fast and that along with his hitch is going to prevent him from ever being successful.
  15. come on, damnit. Slowey throws nothing but strikes. HIT.THIS.GUY.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 29, 2011 -> 05:10 PM) Salvador Perez strikes back. 6-3 Royals. I await people telling me how Scherzer scares anyone come playoffs. and escobar! 7-3

  19. Perez two bagger, the pesky royals up 2-0 in the 2nd...this after some idiot on yahoo referred to Scherzer today as Detroit's "other ace"...
