First week pitching stats are encouraging: Sox 2nd in the league in staff ERA (2.95), 2nd in strikeouts (50), 2nd in runs allowed (20), fewest HR's allowed (1). The only bad thing is that they're 2nd to last in walks allowed (26).

They're trying. Maybe a bit too hard, but they're definitely trying. Good to see Bobby throwing some smoke today.
