  1. I must be one of the few who sees the Yankees as an aging team that is due to see some injuries rear their ugly head, esp with guys like Sabathia, Pettitte and Burnett. And Boston has some big health concerns with Beckett, Dice-K and Lackey (who has a nasty habit of getting hurt). Injuries are always a wild card and can strike any team, but older teams certainly seem more prone.
  2. looking more like a rain-out than a blackout
  3. QUOTE (jhonnydanks @ Apr 2, 2010 -> 09:45 PM) sox looked good, as did atl women..... highlight of the night: some punk ass 18 year olds drinking behind sox dugout were ripping on ozzie and alexei for awhile. ozzie took a cup of sunflower shells and threw them on the kids and motioned for them to zip it after we took a big lead. the kids left quite scared. juan pierre could have a hell of a year by the way..... i was wondering who he looked pissed off at when he kept turning around

  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 05:52 PM) I blame Erstad I blame Ozzie - if only this guy would've really been given a chance to play and get more consistent ABs......
  9. jordan danks with a two bagger off peavy
  10. he's had a good spring but has been told he won't be on the opening day roster.
  11. i never get tired of hearing the absolute disappointment in Chris Berman's voice when El Duque got Damon to strike out for the 3rd out with bases juiced. For me, still one of the greatest moments in Sox history.
  12. MIN CWS DET KC CLE If I had to bet on it I'd say MIN walks away with the division, but I'm hoping the Sox can stay close and maybe make a move. I think Liriano is really back and I think he's going to be the ace they were missing. I also think their offense and defense is going to be rock solid, and have no doubts that they'll figure a way to close out games. I think Linebrink and Putz are very suspect and could be a gaping hole in the pen right out of the gate. Also not convinced Bobby is right.
  13. Dontrelle Willis makes the kitty rotation... linky
  14. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Mar 30, 2010 -> 12:47 PM) Nice girls in bikini shots creep CamelBack camerman. is kind of fun
  15. bold prediction: Twins win more than 100 games and the world series. and yes, i hate myself.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 12:20 PM) That always makes me smile. Especially reading about all of the guys he suggested we get, who have faded into as much obscurity as he has. and how he kept blasting Geoff Blum It's like Karma wanted him to bite the weenie.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 03:00 PM) Konerko beats out a ground ball? it was a bobble, tho
