  1. now go get plaxico burress a good lawyer and sign him so cutler has someone decent to throw to
  2. QUOTE (kevo880 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 05:54 PM) Eastbound caught me by surprise and was one of the funniest knew shows i've seen in a while. My only knock is this season was only 6 episodes. just watched the first episode last night. LMFAO!
  3. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 2, 2009 -> 02:15 PM) I went ahead and paid the extra money for MLB tv Premium. I figure its worth it to pick whatever announcer I want at home and on the road or watch it in Hi Def. hmm...I thought I did too. Did you have to download a new player?
  4. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 2, 2009 -> 02:09 PM) f***in eh the new quality of mlb.tv is awesome. It's come so far since 02 and 03. i've only got the 400K feed. damnit. top of the 9th. must win game for the sox.
  5. that Lincecum commercial with RJ is very funny
  6. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 06:51 PM) Comes out on DVD in June. it's on HBO on deman, i'll check it out. thanks.
  7. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 03:17 PM) I know! is this show funny? I haven't watched it yet...tempted to.
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 01:15 PM) Wow...Quentin's not very fast, either. Can't believe he didn't beat that ball out somehow. I think Ron Karkovice might have been standing at first on that one. Or Little Nick Punto or Ozuna would have head-first dove into the bag. In a sign of the need for pitching in baseball, the Phillies, defending WS champions, are starting the season with Chan Ho Park as their #5 and Sidney Ponson is the #5 for the Royals. Pretty crazy how many opportunities Ponson has had, more than Bob Welch and Dwight Gooden. Betemit looks visibly more comfortable at 3B than he does at SS. the middle of this order is so very, very slow
  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 31, 2009 -> 06:39 PM) I think that Anderson disrespected Ozzie and/or got his sons in trouble. It has to be personal somehow. you can add Williams to the vendetta list then, he obviously has a lot to say about the roster.
  10. QUOTE (Reddy @ Mar 31, 2009 -> 04:28 PM) my favorite part of today? Anderson raising his spring line to .297 .361 .484 too bad Wise outplayed him. it's pretty even - you could make an argument for either, offensively speaking. Zero walks for Wise, but a higher slugging...kind of a choose your poison at this point.
  11. worth noting that he got lit up by the angels, who are the spring version of the '31 yankees. they've been lighting up everyone.
  12. I don't think CLE's second half was a fluke last season. When healthy, they are the best team in the division. I predict Carmona, Hafner and Garko bounce back, Lee remains strong, bullpen holds up and De Rosa rakes, leaving flub fans spittin mad. CLE 92-70 MIN 89-73 CWS 87-75 KC 79-83 DET 77-85 NL EAST: Braves NL CENTRAL: Cubs NL WEST: Giants NL WC: Phillies AL EAST: Rays AL WEST: A's AL WC: Red Sox World Series: Cubs vs. Red Sox in the highest rated world series in decades, Sox win in 5 (cubs get one step closer, only to f*ck it up again)
  13. I was at the practice field one morning last week and AJP could not have been more cool, signing autographs and joking with fans. He's on the worst list? Hardly.
  14. they are the kings of spring. i look forward to watching them finish behind the A's
  15. and now count is getting hammered. good times!
  16. dweezy has flashed a pretty good arm this spring. He's not BA, but that's a good thing when he's got a bat in his hand.
  17. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 10:05 AM) Maybe I'm ignorant on this subject, but, how would a blood test tell you if you have anxiety disorder? Isn't that a mental illness? There is no blood test for anxiety disorder. From ESPN:
  18. Anxiety Disorder? I would think Detroit fans were the ones suffering panic attacks when he took the mound, not the other way around.
