  1. momentum seems to have swung in this game - twins game too
  2. i'm betting the twins make a late run at this game
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 04:12 PM) Well, there's one run already made up. Gavin continues to throw everything up in the zone. I started watching after the 2nd, and haven't seen him throw a curve yet. even w/o the roids, he's still a dangerous hitter
  4. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 04:10 PM) The Twins defense is completely falling apart, they look lost out there. This Twins team f***ing sucks, they have no business being in a pennant in late September. to lose this division to them would be shamefully embarrassing.
  5. at least dweezy hits the ball hard - wonder if he's still nursing an injury
  6. and of course we can't pick up a two out hit with RISP to save our lives. AJ and Owens.
  7. nice chance for AJ to do something productive, even with an out.
  8. walking the always lethal Brian Anderson. Good call.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 03:36 PM) 4-1 Cleveland, Asdrubal Cabrera just hit a HR. Liriano getting shelled. i think that game is going to be a shootout
  10. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 03:07 PM) The Griffey one perplexes me the most. I think KG has like the 3rd worst batting average in the league against lefties or something really bad. Jr. hits .340 vs. Pettite in 50 ab's, Thome .240 in 25 ab's.
  11. nice to see PK back in the lineup (and no swish!): OC - ss BA - cf JD - rf KG - dh PK - 1b AJ - c AR - 2b JU - 3b JO - lf
  12. don't know where to post this, but Cowley is saying Marrioti has been hired by the trib.
  13. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 12:13 PM) I think he may be starting on Sunday on what'll be the last game at the stadium. ah, you are indeed correct. never mind!
  14. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 12:09 PM) Emotional lifts are overrated. His emotions wont make him have good control. disagree, but hope you're right tonight.
  15. QUOTE (ptatc @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 01:47 PM) the reason he could take BP is because he has the screw in the bone. The screw will stabilize the fracture and allow him to do more actvivity than if he was just casted and allowed it to heal. Remember this bone is the size of a popped popcorn kernal. If they feel it is stabile enough and a callus has built around it, they may let him play. The stability of the fracture is the issue which the screw partially solves. stick a needle in there, numb it and get out in the field!
