  1. i need something to bring me out of the bear funk - a sox sweep would be a start
  2. i think they'll end up playing two tomorrow and then, if needed, these two will have to hook up after the season to play one. And that would only happen if it's to determine the winner of the central.
  3. i like DJ but i don't think he brings anything to the booth, not much insight, just a lot of echoing hawk and that ridiculous nostalgia they get into, about how the game has changed. Stone is just in a different class.
  4. QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Sep 13, 2008 -> 10:04 AM) lets win two doesn't look like they're going to be playing anything today
  5. QUOTE (The Critic @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 12:51 PM) It's what you win to host a one-plame gayoff...... wait....what??? good stuff
  6. QUOTE (Felix @ Sep 12, 2008 -> 03:35 PM) Yes, I think so. The important thing is that it's named after Bill Veeck, not this corporate s***. never happen. Bill was fun and I love the guy, but he didn't bring a championship to the south side - jerry reinsdorf did.
  7. SO...they're delaying it...anyone think it's going to happen.
  8. f*** yes - I wake this morning to find the Chicago White Sox in a fight to the finish for the division - does it get any better? Remember what a drag last year was? Hey detroit fans... your team blows! Hey cleveland
  9. bad time for paulie to go down because swisher is f***ing CLUELESS at the plate right now. What a chunk of s***. And wasserman can just go away, please, for the love of god.
  10. it was strange watching the Angels celebrate yesterday and realizing how far we have to go to get to that moment. wasserman - just in case you didn't know it, you suck.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 06:08 PM) Ballgame....don't be afraid to throw a slider once every week Matt. exactly - what the hell? Overbay was just timing it and stroked it back up the middle.
  12. if thornton gets out of this jam it might just light the fuse
  13. swisher now hitting below .200 in September and heading for a career low BA this year with the sox. but hey - he's zany!
  14. not to speak too soon, but we're getting some stout starting pitching in september and that's a good thing.
  15. QUOTE (aprec32 @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 06:11 PM) Does anyone have or can anyone get a statistic of how many times we've struck out looking? I wonder if it leads the league. no idea, but AJ leads the team on left-handed hitting catchers who pop out to short.
  16. has any sox pitcher had more errors made behind him than gavin?
  17. an average of 24 posts a day - impressive
