Even though we need the win and I'm not one for moral victories, I'd be satisfied with a good effort and a strong showing from the offense and the pitching staff...a game that shows me they aren't dead yet. Give me something to cheer about...anything.

It doesn't really matter how bad Mark is. It's not like people like Konerko are stepping up.

A few hours later, and I'm over this loss. I do love baseball. And I agree with what JD had to say about the loss: "He was lights out," Dye said. When they took 2 of 3 from the yankees and then promptly swept the Tigers I was convinced this team had turned the corner. I just didn't realize it was into a dead end. Pretty angry right now. I generally enjoy watching my team play baseball.
