McAdam said two other NL clubs and two AL clubs, one the White Sox, are looking at Ramirez. We're guessing the Cubs and maybe the Dodgers are the NL clubs. Torii Hunter injuried tonight... Torii Hunter - OF - MIN X-rays on Torii Hunter's left ankle were negative. The Twins are calling his injury a strained tendon. He'll fly back to Minnesota tomorrow for an MRI. At the very least, it seems he'll miss the rest of the series against the Red Sox. How many times has Buster come out and say "a deal could be done as soon as tonight"? This won't happen, just like the two AJB deals, how Wagner is gone soon, etc. I highly doubt the Mets will take on the contract along with Carlos B's aswell.

Found this on a Phillies fan message board. Its from the Daily News Live on Comcast Sportsnet in Philly. (Daily News Live is the Chicago Tribune Live verison in Philly). The Phillies analysist John Marzano said the following: Marzano has an incredible source in the White Sox Organization that told him that White Sox have contacted Ed Wade and told him that they are willing to do anything possible to obtain Wagner. They would give-up multiple prospects or aquire someone the Phillies wanted through a 3rd party. Ed Wade told them that they are in the pennant race and would not be taking offers for Wagner.
