  1. QUOTE(CySox @ Jul 22, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) no soraino. no thank you. We have enough player who can strike out 100 times a year and play bad D in LF. He has one of the better fielding % in the league for an OF and leads the league in outfield assts.
  2. Baez has been brutal this year, bad speculating...
  3. Living in the Philly area I see a lot of Phillies games since it's the local team I get, we do not want anything to do with Abreu. The media and philly fans here have been crying for Abreu to lead off for years now and refuses because he wants his numbers. His gold glove he got last year is considered a joke in the Philly area because he's horrible in the OF, and Rowand's catch has only put more of a light on his poor defense. So we do not want Abreu at all.
  4. Has Sean been praticing his beanings in AAA?
  5. Javy and Cash for Gordon....thats all i'm willing to offer....It would be a HUGE mistake to trade Freddy.
  6. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jul 15, 2006 -> 08:39 AM) I don't think the Dodgers pen is as bad as advertised. Gagne is a huge loss no doubt. But these guys have done ok; Saito - 2.05 ERA Beimel - 3.09 ERA Broxton - 3.29 ERA Carrara - 3.52 ERA Baez - 3.94 ERA But out of those 5, Broxton would be the hardest to get. He should really be going nowhere, unless Ned Colletti really decides he needs another starter. Mark Hendrickson wasn't really a good trade for them so far. Saito has been extremely good this year. So much so that he's replaced Baez as there closer after Gagne went down, again.
  7. I would be extremely pissed if he trade Freddy. I am willing to part with Javy if the deal is good enough.
  8. No way would I trade Garica. Besides, Ozzie won't let that happen...Fact is Garica wins games people!
  9. QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 12:16 AM) Yes. Ensberg has been terrible lately, Huff will cut into his 3B time.. thats almost a fa sho Because I like him? Especially how bad defensively that Huff is at 3B? They both will be in the lineup once Ensberg gets his swing back after his DL stint.
  10. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) why would the astros who just added Huff want to trade Burke or Qualls. Do you really think Huff is going to play the rest of the season at 3B when Ensberg gets back from the DL and have Ensberg on the bench?
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 07:37 PM) I have 31 pages. nevermind
  12. Walk off homer coming for Dye....and you can but that on the board!
  13. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:36 PM) So now Pods is a little leaguer that has to be told where to stand in the OF? Do they also have to yell at him from the dugout to throw to 2B instead of home with his b**** arm? You see guys moved by the dugout almost on every batter.
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:32 PM) I just rewound the tivo. Pods was playing pretty deep. Mack needs to start more in LF. If Ozzie thought he was too deep, they would of moved him up. Not Pod's fault there....
  15. Miracle at the Cell....sounds like a great title....
  16. Time for the Really Crede...Let's Go Sox!!!!!
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 04:53 PM) Wait until he starts throwing his offspeed stuff. Pods is an idiot for the bluff move on the first pitch. In that situation, his run doesn't mean s***. You can't be distracting the hitter. Of course, I'd expect nothing less from a low baseball IQ player. If he's on second, a single would of scored 2, Tad to second on the throw. Moot point now but there's a reason for ya.
