  1. Ozuna hbp. Cmon boys gotta take advantage of any opportunity you can tonite!!
  2. QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:11 PM) stewart is out with a tweaked groin and jacque jones is out with a injury.Mauer gets the day off because he caught all 16 innings last night so its the AAA Rochester lineup tonight This has to be the worst lineup of an opposing team i've seen all year! Too bad Santana is pitching though
  3. well if Mark is our supposed "ACE", he better show it tonite.
  4. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) only three lefties in the line up for the twinkies. That's good -- MB's better against righties this year. No Lh's in our lineup, and their much better vs. Santana than RH's
  5. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 04:41 PM) We have won with worse lineups. I think it's safe to say that when anyone of our starters is out of the lineup it's not very good.
  6. This is not the same team it was in the 1st half, i think this big lead is really hurting us. It looks like everyone is trying to pad their stats instead of trying to do what it takes to win the game. There is no fire in this team right now, plain and simple. Our pitching isn't as good as it was in the 1st half, and our hitting is awfully reminiscent of the 04 team..................Ozzie better wake these guys up, because this season won't make it past the 1st week of October at this rate.
  7. I can't watch this s*** anymore, later guys
  8. Letting the Twins score 4 runs is like not scoring in Coors field.
  9. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:17 PM) So was mine?
  10. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:16 PM) Good call. sarcasm
  11. Twins are all over the field tonite, and we look like s***.
  12. Where's the fire in this team? They have looked awfully complacent lately. Maybe having a big lead is not necessarily a good thing.
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:08 PM) Don't forget Dye not being able to throw out the runner at home on an easier play than Ford had. Like I said, this game should be like 6-2 White Sox. This team, of late, has reminded me of last year's team a little too much.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:05 PM) That rally sure ended fast. No s***. I went to take a quick leak and i got back and commercials were on
  15. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:03 PM) It's part of a slump. No team can execute 100% all the time every year, or they'd have 130 wins. I should have said Fundamentally
  16. Dam i thought that was gone. Oh well, 4-2 now
  17. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 07:01 PM) Yah. No team ever has a stretch like this during the season, with injuries and slumps. I understand teams going through slumps hitting and pitching. But this team has failed to execute lately.
  18. WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS TEAM LATELY?????????
  19. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) I said a lot earlier in the day that this was a very big game tonight, because the one thing we can't have is to get swept by the Twins. Tonight was our best chance to win. Considering we got Freddy(cant win at home) going vs Radke, and Buerhle(mediocre of late) against Santana (Lights out of late).
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) Lohse won't be out there much longer. We'll get to their very good bullpen sooner than later. That too, unless we get to him next inning were most likely done
  21. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 06:51 PM) You run on that play when the bottom of the order is coming up. Not when the tieing run in your 3rd hitter is coming up. It just makes no sense. SB Exactly!!
  22. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 06:49 PM) Breaks just aren't going our way tonight. The Fundamentals have been dearly missing from this team lately
  23. MOTHERf***ING CREDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W/ EVERETT COMING UP NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :puke
