  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 11:47 AM) Time to make another out on the base paths. LOL
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 11:41 AM) What did Pierre do on Pennington's single/error? Bobbled it allowing Pennington to go to 2nd.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 07:38 AM) Ridiculously cute. GO WHITE SOX!!!
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:56 PM) The problem is that Pierre is actually a good defensive outfielder, he's just been horrible at judging high drifting fly balls. This has been a weakness of his. He's pretty much lost the Sox two games on his own because of his f***-ups though. Even still he has that noodle arm. You don't want him out there in the 9th inning of a one run lead.
  5. With a Juan Pierre in LF and a Carlos Quentin in RF this team seriously could use a GOOD defensive outfielder for the late innings of close games like this.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:48 PM) Dunn could play 1B and Teahen could go to the OF. Ozzie is too f***ing dumb to come with anything like that.
  7. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:38 PM) 1. i hate thornton, 2. buehrle should have been out in the 9th 3. i almost dont even blame juan, thornton blow and would of still blown it 1. Kinda agree....at least for a closer. 2. Totally agree. 3. Agree.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:28 PM) JP, you suck at baseball. LOL
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 06:55 PM) I'd let Buerhle start the 9th I would too.
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 05:33 PM) A bang-bang play. Just got thrown out by an eyelash. I thought he was safe.
  11. QUOTE (qwerty @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 03:53 AM) Not most intimidating... but one of the cooler pitches. Most would have shat themselves upon the arrival of this pitch. Tons of history about the eephus/folly floater... and so few have actually thrown it. That was cool to see. Hamilton also pitched for the White Sox that same year. I remember seeing him throw the eephus and with good results. Ryne Duren was one of the most intimidating pitchers ever. He threw near 100 mph, wore shades and would intentionally throw a warmup pitch very wild to scare the better. Charlie Sheen's Wild Thing character was certainly modeled after Ryne Duren.
