  1. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:21 PM) Most of the posters over at WSI think Ozzie is doing just fine. Negative Nancy's are not allowed there. So here we are.
  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:18 PM) That makes total sense, hats off to Ozzie for hooking his boy Freddy up with some confidence today, we're going to need him WHEN WE'RE BACK IN THE WORLD SERIES! YEAH JUMP ON THE MOTHER f***ING TRAIN! LMFAO
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:16 PM) "Freddy was left in the 8th in order to get some more confidence. He's going through a tough stretch right now, and he's going to need that confidence for the rest of the season". Somebody should tell PFB that the tough stretch has been going since October 26, 2005.
  4. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:09 PM) Honestly, when was the last time Freddy actually had a quality start? October 26, 2005
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) The Yanks and A's might as well start printing out their ALCS tickets. Those teams are on a completely different level than everyone else in the AL right now. I am hoping to see Frank playing in his first World Series.
  6. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:06 PM) Surprisingly, I want Javy back. He's shown me enough in the last month that I think he could rebound next year. I don't want Uribe and Cotts gone, either. Pods and Garcia? See ya! I was listing them in order of priority.
  7. QUOTE(shoota @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Brandon McCarthy is a better pitcher than Freddy Garcia. Anybody that questions this statement, I pity you.
  8. What can I possible say in this thread that the title does not already say?
  9. While Ozzie is not a great manager, I would like to make a list of players I would like to see wearing different uniforms next year. 1) Pods 2) Freddy Garcia 3) Juan Uribe 4) Neil Cotts 5) Javy Vazquez *** Joey Cora would be #3 except he does not count as a player.
  10. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) Ross can hit. Let's keep him on the bench, Ozzie. You Read Ozzie's mind.
  11. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 03:51 PM) They won last year because of the outrageous pitching they got. Any manager in baseball history basically would've won it all with that staff. I have long said that Ozzie is a terrible in-game manager. I would argue that he is also a terrible outside the game manager too. Making out stupids line ups (Mack in CF, Freddy still starting) and baiting the media are not positive ways to impact your team.
  12. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 03:48 PM) It would suck to get swept by the Red Sox. And I think that just might happen. I have little doubt that we can help the Red Sox get back in the wild card race.
  13. Ozzie is playing not to lose. With the team he puts out there, he can receive the least criticism, but he can not win.
  14. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) Ozzie f***ing up so much recently, It really seems as though Ozzie is trying to lose.
  15. I never thought I would say this, but the best place for Thome right now is backing up Ross Gload.
  16. I least Ross Gload has an idea of what it takes to win a game in the late innings.
  17. I would love to see Brian Anderson get an at bat this inning.
  18. Need amnesty on the swear filter to accurately decribe how I feel about Pods.
  19. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) Delmon knows how to go to right field. I wonder why our "vets" cant figure it out. It just that Sox hitter's balls to right field hang up in the air long enough for fielders to make a sandwich, then catch the pop up.
  20. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) Hawk said it earlier--- If we continue to play like this we don't deserve to make the playoffs. FACT
  21. W/O homers the offense is non existant/ Shall we start a search party for "Ozzie ball"?
