Her case is still unsolved despite her friends, family, and strangers giving the cops hundreds of leads. To this day her estranged husband has never been interrogated or given a lie detector test. Sad...

There have been countless Aruban natives as well as the business owners, hotel workers, etc... all who have their jobs to lose - painting a "good" picture of this girl. Even the father of one of the boys initially taken into custody (who by the way was also brought in for questioning and held for 3 days) who had met the girl claims she did not appear to be the type of person that would get herself into a "mess" like this. As for the 3 guys... they WERE part of the group. They had been hanging out with the group all week that they were there. And like I said, from the mouths of the 2 guys that were released (1 is still in custody) they claim she was falling down barely coherant when they walked out of the resturant. I'm gonna guess that they wouldn't say she was near passed out unless it was partly the truth. I don't think you are insensitive NUKE. I just think you are ignorant to the facts of the story as they have come out. I understand your frustration with the story being all over the news... it's sad. But when you don't bother to know the facts it opens yourself up to making comments without facts... and we all know how that looks.

I guess my point is that IF something tragic had happened to her the LAST person I would be blaming would be her. Personal responsibility... what about their personal responsibility NOT to murder someone.......

Just got an email from a friend of ours that's also a Sox ST holder.. He sold his tickets to a "friend" for one of the Yankee games. Now he finds out that the guy sold them to someone else - at a serious profit (more than $400). He's all up in arms because a. the guy sold them at such a profit, and b. that he didn't offer them back to him first if he really couldn't go (there was suggestion in the email that the guy never planned on going and was going to sell them all along). Just curious as to how some of you would have handled this on either end.

Is planning on getting hitched.. again. Rumor is the big day is next Friday. Might I suggest a nice pair of GPS installed earings as a wedding gift.

(AP) - A state board voted to publicly reprimand a Central Linn High School teacher and football coach for licking the bleeding wounds of several student athletes. The Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission Wednesday placed Scott Reed on two years' probation. Details of the case and censure will go on the commission Web site and be sent to all Oregon school districts and to departments of education nationwide. Reed must attend a class on the risks of blood-borne pathogens within the next two months and furnish the commission with written verification of his attendance. Reed agreed to "stipulated facts" that included him licking blood from wounds on a track team member's knee, a football player's arm, and a high school student's hand. It was not clear why he licked the wounds. The Linn County Sheriff's Office investigated the case last year. No charges were filed. Sheriff Dave Burright called the behavior "bizarre" but not criminal, since the contact wasn't forced. Two students who reported licking incidents and another who witnessed an incident said it seemed that Reed was "just joking around." Reed, a science teacher, resigned this spring as a track coach but remains the school's dean of students and head football coach. The state sanctions virtually duplicated those imposed by the school district.
