    Heart question..

We're going to see another specialist at Rush next Saturday morning. I'm sure things will work out. It's just confusing with as good of condition as he's in. His dad had issues.. that's what scares us. Thanks.
  3. They are fighting with Baltimore for him.. I think Baltimore wins. Lord.. I should just keep my mouth shut.. :headshake
  4. When you live on the corner of Boardwalk and Park Place.. and take the good old B&O railroad directly to jail - do not pass go - I can see why. :rolly
  5. Oh Christ.. this is baseball for pete's sake. Players get traded. If Maggs didn't like it too f***ing bad. It's Kenny's responsibility to try and field the best team and make trades that will help the team. Boo f***ing hoo Maggs didn't feel wanted. Last time I checked he didn't lead this team anywhere. The bottom line is this.. the Sox could have set Maggs up with daily hummers and it wouldn't have changed anything. The minute he hired Boras proved that. My God.. I never would have guessed Maggs as a whiner.. :headshake
  6. Is anyone else having chest pains at the thought of Kenny on the phone with the Bean...??

    Heart question..

Which is exactly what I thought she would say. Thank you for asking. Just going to sit and wait until next Thursday to find out more. I'm guessing more testing that will likely involve some angeo.. One day at a time..
  8. No.. I'm sorry. It's not you I'm frustrated with. Peace.
  9. Thank God It was only water I was drinking...
  10. It's my understanding.. ... that they (teams) have parameters they can work within. If they deviate much from that is when MLB takes a closer look. I'm sure they give them all the "stamp of approval".. but ones with a lot of red tape are looked over more closely. Oh.. Just guessing here since I'm in no way, shape, or form involved with MLB other than being, evidentally, a stupid, blind, "something" smoking fan. :rolly
  11. I can just feel the stroke coming.. Jim and I will have matching bed sheets on our hospital beds. This is why I just sit back and don't talk about s*** I hear. It's just not worth the effort to defend. :banghead
  12. Well.. you did spell everything correctly here.. so.. on to reading
  13. When he tells the story he makes refrence to almost being blinded. It's hysterical.
  14. The EDITDA cap has been in place since 1996. f***ING READ PEOPLE!!!! http://www.cbaforfans.com/cba9701.pdf
  15. Doesn't matter how good of friends Selig and JR are.. there are financial rules in place that have to be followed.
  16. Of course he does.. But he does not have say in the financal status of the team. Deferring money would be considered a liability to the team. By CBA rules a team can NOT have more than 10 times it's EDITDA at any given time. Any financial obligations would have to be approved by MLB as to not violate the financial restrictons. Are you just screwing around or are you really this dense..?
  17. I'm putting in a trade request for you to the MLB boards.. you'd fit in there perfectly.
  18. Which was approved by MLB. Remember waiting on Selig's approval....
  19. Wrong. It has to be approved by MLB. Just read would ya.. I posted the damn link to the CBA. :dips***
  20. Had to steal this from Flight #24 on WSI.. Paraphrasing... Magglio: "Sox wanted to defer $$$ like 20 years without interest" Truth: CBA doesn't allow that Magglio: "Sox recommended the dr in Austria to me" Truth: The doc recommended it, but Magglio ASKED HIM NOT TO TELL THE TEAM Magglio (via Boras): "I'm totally healed & ready to play right now" Truth (per Maggs): Not totally healed, can run but not jump Magglio (via Boras): "It was minor surgery" Truth: It WAS minor, in the sense that something requiring experimental surgery not approved in the US can be considered minor Magglio (via Boras): "The injury was relatively minor" Truth (per Lowell Weill): The injury might be career threatening Magglio: "Sox didn't make me feel wanted, I didn't feel like they wanted me to stay" Truth: What about a long-term contract is it that screams "We don't want you"? Remember - there was no request for a no-trade or complaint about one not being in the deal. Is there any doubt about who's lying here? Sure, the Sox aren't 100% clean, but Maggs/Boras are rolling in filth by comparison.
  21. You're a bit mistaken on this.. Aaron thought it was hysterical. It's a story he tells often. If you attend Sox Fest.. ask him about the "hairy butt".
  22. With approval.. anything is posible. But deferred for 20 years..? GMAFB. Are you that gullible?
  23. I'm sorry.. but I laughed to tears when that happened also.
