All tickets are half price today. Co-worker just called and got half price in 527. I thought it was ticket window only too, but guess not. Only about 15K paid full price - season ticket holders.

IMO, I get to a lot of "big concerts" and I simply sit in the seat I pay for. Parking is parking and the earlier you get there, the closer you are (which is not always a good thing when it comes time to leave) but I've never had an issue with "getting a seat" unless I buy lawn seats.

While he is NOT GUILTY of anything but adultry at this point, Kobe and Vanessa attended the TEEN Choice Awards..? A die hard Laker fan in the office was spouting off about how sickening that someone who has admitted adultry and who is looked up to by so many youngsters as a role model should not be getting awards until his personal matters are cleared up. Quote "they are glorifying cheating". I don't know if I'll go that far, but I do think it's a bit strange that he would be at such an event. And all the Cubs/Sox series. And 2 of the 3 Yankee games last year. Tonights tickets sold is already at 32K. At this pace there wont be any tickets for the customary 10K walk-up crowd.

If things go well for the Sox I'm gonna buy plane tickets via Southwest for the date of the series and will spend some of the money I've made this summer working like 50 hours a week. Oh man...you tell Sidney if he joins the Sox he'll have you and me head up the Ponson Fan Club Oh geez.. he's almost afraid to play here cause he says I would be a nutcase to people who boo'd him if he had a bad outing.
