  1. Yea, I was joking about Jimbo's. I just thought because the area gets such a bad rap as being so dangerous maybe JR might have "suggested" Paulie move around there to try and help get rid of that perception. Hey.. Jimbo's is great for a few pre-game beers. Just no dancing or eye candy in there So could he not have changed since getting engaged? Perhaps he doesn't do those kinds of things at home anymore? They go out together every weekend they are in town Rex. And don't try to BS me... guys change just because they get engaged..? Paaallleeaasseee. If men are breathin'.. they're lookin'.
  2. We're going to the Taste. It's never crowded on the 4th. Everyone's home bbq'ing
  3. Yes you did. Did I look good in my speedos and bikini top? You were HOT baby!!! Way more "doable" then I...

  5. LOL.. Me to. And Zach.. I just remembered that I saw you Friday.. LOL. I need a vacation
  6. Jimbo's isn't exactly Paul's style... lol I doubt it's a contract thing. I don't think they can tell there where they have to live.
  7. Am I the only one that couldn't figure out what that word was? I could respond because I couldn't understand the question...

    Am I Nuts?

Umm.. I didn't say I'd DO him!!! But he is a hottie!
  9. For what Vince? There is NOTHING in the area. No bars. No nightlife. Not too many good resturants. And everything is right on top of you. These guys do not work normal hours and do not have to fight with traffic either way to work. Paul would be the last person I'd expect over there. He's a pretty party boy.
  10. Jim.. it's not either one of those names... It's a weird name.. crap I can't believe I can't remember it. It's right off 55 on the right side of the street if you're going south. s***! This is going to bug me all friggin day now. And HSC.. I wouldn't be surprised if the house in Tinley was her sister's and they were staying there while having something built in BR. I know him and his brother-in-law are tight. So I bet that's it. And Father's day was just a few weeks ago so maybe they all hung out there and went to Second Swing. I know they have a kick ass pool!
  11. Being built approximately in the 33rd & Shields area. I have not personally seen it so I'm just repeating what I was told from a cop who lives in the area. And that's what I can't figure out about where he's moving with the $$ he's got. Makes no sense.
  12. The area does not fit the lifestyle. There are 50, 60, 70 year old houses, 2, and 3 flats. It's just not the "idea" area for a player to live. Very little privacy as well. Several rent furnished apartments in the city. A few rent furnished townhouses in the burbs. A few own houses and come back once or twice a month in the offseason. All depends on the guy, and if they have a family on the travel schedule I'd guess. I don't pretend to know the habits of all ball players. Just the dozen or so that I know. That is where I get my information. Also, they have maids so it's not like the place sits empty for an extended period of time. Paul got engaged. Not married yet. She's a real nice lady. Very supportive of him. I doubt she's a distraction, although I do not know her very well. So I can only give you my opinion on what I know.
  13. When did he move?? He's been right off 159th street for the past 4 years?? Him and Jerry are always at Second Swing at the Orland Mall. Just within the past few weeks as a matter of fact?!?!!?!?! Darien.. that's right. Kevin and Peg see him at the pizza joint all the time.
  14. I lived on V8 this weekend! Believe it or not.. it's very soothing.

    Am I Nuts?

I saw her Saturday on the Club Level and I thought she looked horrible. But John was there.. and oooooo baby did he look good.

    To all

I don't mind the perverted posts.. I just ignore them. But when you call people assholes for no reason and toss out unprovoked attacks, that's not nice.
  17. It's a must do for any fan. I went 11 years in a row and the year I missed I was so bummed. It's a great experience.
  18. Maggs is in Tinley. He could ride in with Carlos, though. And Mark is out that way as well, right?
  19. You should try to get out to spring training, clu. He works with the Sox in Arizona every spring.
  20. Bo had surgery in 1991, and was playing as late as 1994 with the Angels. I don't remember why he retired, but it might have had something to do with his hip, don't know for sure. And is it a bad area to live in? Since I've never been there, I obviously don't know. Not bad. Just no privacy. They are bungalo's with zero lots. No yard, no nothing. And for 80+ days a year in the spring and summer your street and driveway are blocked Didn't you say he was having a house built? Seems like that would offer SOME privacy and space, no? The lots are only as big as they are. He did buy a double lot, but he's having a 4 car garage put up. Most of those lots don't accomidate a one car garage! It's just a strange place for a ball player to live. He could buy a 5000 sq foot gated house in Burr Ridge for what he's paying to have that place built. It just doesn't make a lot of sense.
  21. OMG.. you ain't kiddin! You should see them out there on the course. They have cart races. Every year.. never fails. I love when they play the tourney at Wedgewood because there are a lot of dips on that course and they always tip their carts!

  23. If you ever get an opportunity to meet Bo.. jump at it. Bo loves to talk allll about his bum hip. Let him tell you the stories of post surgery. Stories of the pain.. and the shots with 3 inch 4mm guage needles to try to stop the pain in his joints. Let him tell you about popping pain pills like they were candy. He loves to tell people that if you are injured, GET OFF THE FIELD. It's not worth it. Bo golfs 2 or 3 times a week in the spring & summer out here in Tinley Park and a couple times a month at Broken Arrow with Carlton. He limps when he walks and is still visibly in pain. I wouldn't say his surgery was a sucess.
