Out of curiousity, before Alomar went to NYC were there any complaints about him by his teammates or the media, outside of the spitting incident? No complaints from Cleveland. And that is supposedly where him and Albert hated eachother. Albert said that is the furthest from the truth. Knowing him.. and how he never holds anything back (ala Hannah Storm ) I believe him completely. Roberto went to Cleveland in 1999, Albert was long gone by then, they were never teammates. I'm sorry.. I incinuated they were teammates. My mistake. Albert kept in touch with many of his former teammates, as well as knowing Robbie through Sandy. That is where his opinion is coming from. As well as from guys on Baltimore.

its not in my schedule but if i recall they did send an email a while back.....and i have heard it on the news for the past few weeks... one of the main reasons i planned on going tonite with the boss...(browine points ya know lol )...........they did have it on the jumbo tron friday too but you probably couldnt see it from where we were sitting unless you strained and looked that way... i caught it out of the corner of my eye and had it not been for the email, radio and news i wouldnt have known it was scheduled ...........id call and b****....... Well.. as long as they aren't doing them now I'm OK with it. I rarely read those emails so no surprise I missed it there. You are going the 18th.. right?

they were announced all weekend on the scoreboard - fireworks for tonight - caught my buddy's eye because it is not the norm to have Wednesday fireworks but I saw the announcement and heard Ed and John mention it a few times zach - HSF told me Sunday that if the Sox won Mon and Tuesday he was going Wednesday so you hold him to that! OK. Cause there is nothing on the schedule about it. Wonder why they changed their minds.. No big deal.. 5 or 6 HR's will provide plenty

Where were they scheduled..?? We gave away tonight's tickets way back in April because there were no fireworks scheduled..?? I think no more then 5K walkups. 6:05 is too early for most to get there from the burbs by gametime. They shot themselves in the foot with that start time.

Fireworks...? No fireworks scheduled for tonight. You drinking already.. We did get screwed on the fireworks deal though. Every year we wer at the game on the 4th and they were always great. But because of the AS schedule.. no home games after tonight. Something to look forward to though.. they are doing more "spiffying" up around the park. I doubt anything too major, but I'll pass along details when I get them.

It was mobbed up there. We walked up, I saw a couple friends, the baby starting crying when the announcer started talking, the jumbotron was too big for her.. the list is endless, LOL July 18th looks like the next meeting date. HSC.. are you going to continue the boycott..??

Going today to look at 2 different indoor greens. One is just over $200 and the other is a bit under $400. The second one has inserts to change the breaks and 3 different spots for the cup. Also is bigger (6X9 versus 7X12).

Albert was a very nice guy to the guys he worked with. Ask any of them.

As soon as I heard about the Robbie deal.. I got on the horn to a former teammate of his to get the scoop. And since Robbie said some unflattering things about this teammate in the media I expected a lot of negative things to be said.. quite the opposite. Quote: "Robbie is a total gamer. He'll give 150%. Loves playing with his brother and that will be the difference". About Carl: "Those guys in the clubhouse are going to have a blast with him. He keeps things light and will soon become the leader of kangaroo court". I'll say this.. with all the crap I heard about this former player in the media, and then learning the facts by getting to know him.. I definitely trust his comments. BTW Clu... Bo was there last night. Ironic that we were just talking about him..

Just to clarify, it was a little over 14K walk up crowd. We already have a 14K+ ticket base.
