So the bad footwork on the line up costing Detroit a DP costs them three runs.

PB on McCann.

Man that looked like a midrange flyout off of the bat, but it just didn't come down.

Bad footwork by the 2B cost them the DP.

3 runs in 4.1 IP is good?

Sitting fastball, just missed it.

Timmy stealing another out there.

Looked like it clipped his helmet, might have taken a second to get the stars cleared up.

This take needs to be deleted and flushed.

Yeah there is a pretty good chance that Cease blew reading his signs which is what led to the PB and the problems. It's a mental mistake that shouldn't happen. I don't know if that play got in his head or not, but that was a series of what not to do. I think all of that was a teachable moment though. We'll see how he handles it going forward.

Tim only needs a double now for the cycle.

Runs are all unearned too. Fun.

The cross up costs the team 4 now.

Tie ball game.

One more out D!

That wasn;'t bad defense. He was expecting something breaking and low, and got a high fastball.

McCann and Cease were crossed up.

That is my favorite thing about the park as well. We had 10th row dugout seats once, and it was like being at the top of the 100 level in terms of where we were oriented to the field.

Been there, won't argue it for sure. One of my least favorites.

The original Comiskey dimensions were something like 20 feet deeper to CF than Comerica is.

Mazara picked up Boyd much better in that AB.

That is also a homer in Chicago, by a decent margin. In Detroit, not even on the track.

So far, it has been a good thing that McCann waas behind the plate. He moves his feet so much better, and his blocking technique is very good back there. Grandal isn't half as good at it. And with how often Cease has been in the dirt today, we are probably talking about at least 1 WP/PB in the first few innings.

That is just nasty.
