There's different levels of Tourette's. I have a friend that says "hut!" all the time, and has a twitch of the head. Then, there's the ones you see on the talk shows and in movies. I think it's like a lot of things - when they aren't thinking about it, it's more tamed. For instance, a person that stutters uncontrolably can sing like an opera singer without a problem.
