Man, Forte can't even break open field tackles anymore. That was an ugly quarter.

Well, the Bears coaches officially suck and our defense continues to be the opposite of good.

I've always liked De Aza a lot. He had a .385 OBP in the 22 games he played with the Marlins this season. I'd have zero issues with him as a 4th/5th OF. Ozzie will love him.

JUST got back from Paranormal Activity. That s*** was insane. It was a very good movie. It's really unique and I'd absolutely recommend seeing it again. There were a couple scenes where I legitimately jumped and a couple that were so ridiculously creepy that every hair on my body stood. It's unique in that it builds very deliberately from start to finish with a great climax. Definitely worth seeing in theaters. I wouldn't say terrifying but it's definitely extremely f***ing creepy. After short deliberation and reflection, I'd definitely go see it again.

Living near Grand Rapids, I know I'll definitely be going to the game the Wolves come to Van Andel to play the Griffins. That should be interesting, as they're the feeder team for the Red Wings and I'm sure he'll get a great ovation, but I just want to see him play in person once before he finally retires.

But this year's squad is far younger and had played together for a while. Serbian teams have been known to get ahead and then milk a lead for a while only to give up a late goal or 2 and draw or lose. This team continues to attack and accompany an awesome D led by Vidic/Ivanovic/Subotic with great offensive playmakers like Jovanovic and Krasic. They showed this against Romania. They were up 1-0 at the half, and in times past, they'd bring in all the defensive players they could to try and hold on to the lead but now they continue to attack and use offense as a line of defense. They ended up winning 5-0.

Serbia handled Romania 5-0 to win Group 7 and qualify for WC2010. It was amazing day. Now we play a meaningless match in Lithuania where some of our younger players will hopefully get some quality experience.

That was quite the game. I missed the 2nd period due to some school stuff but when I checked my phone to see 5-4 with 5 minutes in the 2nd, I was shocked. Overall, I think the the team will be just fine, especially when Hossa returns, but the defenders have been worrisome to me, obviously as well as Huet in goal. I'd gladly deal Barker, one of our young forwards and a prospect for a good defenseman. I like the Keith/Seabrook pairing, and I like Hjalmersson, but Barker and Campbell worry me. Turnovers in our own zone have become a big problem. And how about Kane. Great players make the guys around them better and I don't know if there is a better example of that than Kane and Buff. And finally, paging Mr. Toews. Paging Mr. Toews. Any time you'd like to join the team would be great...

The jersey's in that league are way to Madden-esque and bright.

You know what's kind of disturbing? I wouldn't mind Milton Bradley DHing and batting 5th...
