  1. Think I might be headed to Orlando in late May. Got a free Celebration Pass to Universal Resort from work, and my buddy who lives down there works for Disney. Anyone got any other Orlando suggestions?
  2. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 21, 2014 -> 08:08 PM) Anyone have any Scottsdale Hotel Recommendations? Looking for something nice, but won't break the bank either. Valley Ho
  3. St. Patrick's Day in Savannah never fails, even with cold/rainy weather.
  4. Man, I love Savannah. Had Zaxby's for the first time. Delicious. Going to Paula Deen's restaurant Saturday.
  5. I have crappy luck when it comes to weather on my vacations. Flying out to Savannah Wednesday and it looks like it.ll be cool/rainy over the weekend and for St. Patrick's Day.
  6. Got home from work last night a little after 11 and was motivated to hit the gym. I was in there for about 2 hours and absolutely crushed it with the place all to myself. It was so weird as to how intense and focused my workout was at that time of day.
  7. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 11:25 PM) So I decided to gamble on Priceline for the trip to Chicago instead of going with the Millienum hotel for $110 a night.. I ended up with the Hyatt Regency hotel, a 4 star hotel for $75 a night.. Saved a total of around 50 bucks and still staying at a nice hotel. Really nice hotel. My buddy stayed there in December and did the same with the secret deal on Priceline. It's right across the river from me. Great location.
  8. So I knocked out Denver and Phoenix, and I'm headed to Savannah next week. Potential trips the rest of the year: Toronto Orlando Nashville New Orleans Seattle Los Vegas Yosemite Never been to any of the above as an adult. Thoughts?

    2014 TV thread

Finished Breaking Bad yesterday. Brilliant, perfect ending. What a tremendous show. Also, the finale of True Detective looks amazing. Can't wait.

Finally saw Wolf of Wall Street tonight. Loved it. Get the ludes.
  11. Is it normal to be this depressed after your first visit to Arizona? Good God I want to go back.
  12. I totally fell in love with Phoenix.
  13. That was the best vacation I've ever taken. Phoenix is beautiful. Camelback Ranch is an amazing facility. The weather is great. I hiked Camelback Mountain and it might have been the coolest experience of my life. And Old Town Scottsdale and ASU make for some fun nights. Legitimately depressed to be back in Chicago.

It kinda sucked, but it wasn't the worst 3 hours ever with Spirit. The flight attendants were pretty nice actually, and my legs were no more cramped than on any other airline. But ya, not flying with them again.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 06:09 AM) The Ryan Air of America, be prepared to pay for everything. Yup. Brutal. $45 for a carry on. I'm paying them for the security of knowing that they won't f*** up and lose my luggage. Awful.
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 08:16 PM) Just trying to find something do on Friday night when we are come to Chicago besides just go to dinner. I know the NCAA tournament is going on.. Probably would like to go to a place where we can have the games on and have something fun to do.. Like I said, a Dave and Busters type of place There's a Dave & Busters on Clark between Oak and Maple. Looks huge.

I fly Spirit tomorrow for the first time. Hope it's smooth.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 19, 2014 -> 07:14 AM) I'm 6'5 and order online from the same places cuz I know they'll fit when they arrive. What places? Button up shirts are tough, but nice pants/shorts are near impossible because I don't want to buy pants that I haven't tried on.
  19. Leaving Thursday. Can't wait to experience 80 degree temps again.
  20. Shopping for any kind of clothes that fit well is unbearable when you're 6'6.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 12, 2014 -> 01:06 PM) Ermon Lane is GOOD. There was a pretty good stretch leading up to NSD that it was possible all three of Ermon Lane, Malachi Dupre and Travis Rudolph were going to come to FSU. Dupre going to LSU sucked, but getting Harrison to flip from VaTech was nice. All these guys still have Rashad Greene to lean on too. FSU's offense should be filthy again next year.
  22. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 12, 2014 -> 12:42 PM) Jesus, this made me physically uncomfortable: That's amazing.
  23. QUOTE (sayitaintso @ Feb 12, 2014 -> 01:04 PM) I just had to rent a car from Enterprise for a couple days last week. I'm 23 and the Under-25 charge there was $12 per day (I had a mid-size rental, Ford Focus). Anywhere else I looked was pretty outrageous, so I'd recommend Enterprise. I ended up with a mid-size from Avis for $230 for 4 full days. Enterprise was going to cost me about $340.
  24. Way late to the party, but if you're FSU, how do you replace Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw? Oh, by getting Ermon Lane, Travis Rudolph and Javon Harrison. That'll work.
  25. QUOTE (La Marr Hoyt HOF @ Feb 11, 2014 -> 05:23 PM) Anyone who rents from any site other than hotwire.com needs to have their head examined. Don't think you can book through Hotwire if you're under 25, otherwise a $100+ surcharge is applied.
