Watch out for the Orioles next season! Tejada, Pudge, Mora, Segui, and their young'n's will be pretty good. Anyway, this opens up trade possibilities with the Angels (Percival, Washburn, Eckstein, Erstad), M's (Garcia, Winn, Prospects), A's, and a few other teams in need of a SS or RF.

Im surprised that the D-Rays would give up Kenneddy. He was an excellent pitcher for them last year. Overall, a good deal for all teams.

Both of you shut the hell up. Both trades are long gone! Back to the M's, Im only trading Maggs if we include Valentin and they include some REALLY good prospects.

Let me add me .02 cents. Ok, Garcia for Maggs = HELL NO! Garcia has had arm problems and has a rising ERA. If we added Valentin and got a SS and a SP prospect, I would do it. As far as LA goes, Maggs, Koney, and Valentin for Perez, Izturis, and a prospect or 2 sounds good.

I agree. Basically, in the end, we traded like 8 quality minor-leaguers whol will be big-leaguers soon, for Scott "I wanna be a starter" Schoenoweis. Whoop-dee-doo!

Overpaid, yes. Worth the $$$, no. Upgrade over Cedeno, yes. Overall good signing, yes.
