KA-BLAM! Nice squib work on that scene.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 03:25 PM) By the way I was referring to the Italian dance. Got nothing on the Tarantella.

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 11:50 AM) Brilliant. Honorable mention to Hot Beef Injection and Johnson's Underpants.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 10:18 AM) Psst, you haven't fixed it yet. Oops, yeah ok, it's been spoilered. Now Ribbie needs to kill the quote, though I already peed in his cinematic corn flakes.

QUOTE (RibbieRubarb @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 09:32 AM) Thanks...don't have to see it now Ah crud, I forgot about the spoiler thingie. I thought I was the last person to see the film. Sorry.

My folks made their way down to lorida for snowbird season and brought me a bottle of the ever-elusive Maraska maraschino liqueur from Croatia. I have about a dozen vintage tiki recipes piled up that I've never been able to mix up for lack of maraschino. This weekend could get ugly if not for the fact that I have to work both Saturday and Sunday.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 01:11 AM) I recently stumbled upon a pretty great classic rock that eluded me for years. I'm not sure why I have never heard it on the radio ever. True Fine Love by The Steve Miller Band. So come on get your rocks off, I'm gonna knock your socks off. Good stuff for sure, and it was on SMB's Greatest Hits so lazy 100% repetitive programing is the only reason classic rock stations seem to have forgotten this one.

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 07:29 PM) Nice. Anyone ever try to tape your buns together? I think Larry Lester's Buns would be a good name for an 80s cover band.

Just try to enjoy your QB's career high night. . . even though it's the wrong guys catching the ball.

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 06:37 PM) Yeah I don't see the point. I loved Let The Right One In. So creepy and happy and all kinds of weird emotions provoked. And the kids seemed like kids and not kids saying adult lines. All true, and so much of the darker subtext hits you long after the film is over. Really really well done.

I finally saw Let the Right One In the other night. I thought it was really good, and now I'm pi$$ed to hear that there is a 2010 American remake planned. Do something original instead please.

QUOTE (G&T @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 09:39 PM) Pennichuck Brewing apparently is going belly up. They are selling their brewing supplies. I might have to grab what I can around here. They may be going to contract brewing, but that isn't clear right now. Ratebeer I have never had ANYTHING from these guys, but I have read good things about them. They had just inked a Florida distribution agreement too, so I was looking forward to seeing the beers make it this way. Reading that release bit from rateBeer, I'm not convinced they are done though. "Realigning company assets" may mean they are scaling up to larger equipment, depending on the nature of the "angel funding", and obviously their stated plan to brew again in @9 months is encouraging. They may also be looking to contract brewers to produce their stuff, which can be worrisome but doesn't have to be a product killer. We shall see.

Oh, the suspense is almost unbearable. How high does it look like Barry Manilow is going to score?

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 03:54 PM) You're awesome. Glad someone caught it. I am really beginning to feel old. We could bug the youngins and quote obscure Breakfast Club references all day. Of course, we don't have to do it out in the street. We can runaway and we can go to the ocean, we can go to the country, we can go to the mountains. we could go to Israel, Africa.. . . Afghanistan. . . ?. . .

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 01:13 PM) How about multitasking? I do things with my free hand nobody knows about. Jumping and chewing gum at the same time?

Football is barely on my radar. This is catch-up time to make up for all the slacking off I do during baseball season.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 11:38 AM) Disney World You can still get the big turkey legs at the parks and feel liek you're not missing out entirely on the traditional holiday spread. And there's only 1 50/50 chance that they are actually emu legs and not turkey legs.

Don't think so, no. My Bucs fan wife is on suicide watch, so at least it's not quite that bad for y'all.
