QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 12:27 PM) Missouri won by 28 points on Saturday with less than 150 yards of total offense. Maty Mauk is like watching bad jay cutler every saturday, it's been really brutal. heard on the radio that in the last 10 years, NCAA teams who held their opponent to under 120 yards is 147-2. The second loss was Florida. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 06:13 PM) I said I haven't seen footage of it, but the ACC has already admitted that the officials missed that penalty. were you out there saying Pitt should've gotten to re-kick the missed FG against ND back in 2012 when ND had two defensive players wearing the same number out on the field? -

QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) You could make that call on almost any screen play in any football game. It's rarely called ever, it shouldn't be called on the last play of the game especially when Robinson was going to be open no matter what. someone can correct me if i'm wrong but i think the rule is youre allowed to block down field if the pass is thrown/completed behind the line of scrimmage. -

it wasnt contact, it was blocking. my gosh youre pathetic on this. i guess every college commentator in the world is wrong and ND fans are correct. Even that moron ND fanboy Lou Holtz knew it was a pick play. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 12:15 PM) I'd like someone to describe what "route" he was running there. It's just funny because if the exact opposite happened...FSU runs that play, touchdown nullified, ND fans would be saying what you're saying - easy call, run blocking on a pass. I think it's called a "sled route". You know, when the coach blows the whistle and the player runs up to the sled and tries to push it back a few yards. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 19, 2014 -> 12:01 AM) Why isn't he trying to go sideways then? He's moving straight back as Priosse is plowing straight ahead. He's not even trying to follow Robinson. because he was suppose to switch on the coverage but never could do that because the WR started blocking him as soon as the snap took place. its an easy call, youre just mad a ref wasnt in ND's back pocket. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 18, 2014 -> 11:55 PM) HAHAHAHAHA, get out of here with that crap. That is 10000% a no call since the defender was grabbing the receiver. yeah, the DB who is in charge of covering the WR going towards the corner is going to grab and hold onto the other WR and let his man get as open as humanly possible. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 18, 2014 -> 11:50 PM) OK, nobody ever gets to complain about ND getting all the calls after that. HAHAHAHA, get out of here with that crap. That is 1000% offensive pass interference and it wasnt even close. Dont be mad that ND finally didnt get away with something. -

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 18, 2014 -> 10:03 PM) They actually out gained us through four. that was a weird game. Missouri gets outgained 283-119, throws for 20 yards and wins by 29. bye bye Willie Muschamp. -

so much for Kenny Trill... -
so I started the season with Brady and watched him suck for 3 weeks before dropping him and making Rivers my starting QB. This week I'm playing the last place team and he picked up Brady and started him and of course he gets him 22pts. Between that garbage and the Peterson crap, I dont even know why I care anymore this year.

Archer was drafted by the Indians, traded to the Cubs in the DeRosa trade and then traded to the Rays in the Garza trade. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 14, 2014 -> 09:24 AM) He will play. Jimbo is relying on a liar telling him the truth. I think everyone will be in NDs corner this weekend. I hope FSU rolls ND. FSU is going to get theirs eventually, no reason to root for ND. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 01:57 PM) How about that Lovie Smith defense? Verner, McCoy, Foster and David are the only players who should be starting on a NFL team. The previous management definitely whiffed on a good amount of draft picks, which lead to bad free agent signings. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 01:39 PM) Miami looked to be surprised GT wanted to run the ball. In all honesty, Miami was clueless at how to stop the option. Only way Golden lasts to see 2016 is if he fires his best bud who is the DC at the end of this season. This team was built to make a run next season and this season has been a waste so far besides the development of Kaaya. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 10:14 AM) No kidding. Stanford guy hit Golson right in the head on that forced fumble. Should have been +15 and a first down instead of turning into a Stanford TD. Get out of here with that, refs miss calls like that all the time. But the replay official flat out cheated Stanford on the game leading FG drive. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 27, 2014 -> 11:38 PM) SEC overranking in the polls is rampant, but also irrelevant. All that matters is the top 4. A crap Missouri team getting ranked after a s***ty performance that somehow won getting ranked 25 is meaningless if it happens. I know I wouldn't vote for them, but I also saw South Carolina get dominated in every aspect by Texas A&M in Week 1 and knew that team wasn't good. A team being 12 instead of 18 ultimately means nothing. ultimately is means nothing but its not irrelevant as teams jockey themselves up the polls after an early season loss. If it wasnt for Missouri, South Carolina was probably a win away at Auburn from having a tournament elimination game in the SEC title. And as you said, South Carolina isnt good. I almost want to believe that the over ranking of SEC teams is almost to protect them in case they have an SEC Champion who finishes 11-2. They can hype up the SOS and what not compared to a 1-loss team from another conference. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 27, 2014 -> 11:13 PM) It's hard to say the SEC is overrated when it's still the best league thanks to the West. I agree Ole Miss is overrated, but that's about it. Every team in the West is good and some of them very good. It's the best but I dont think they are nearly as good as they've been hyped. The conference has been so hyped that when they lose within the conference, the winning team flies up the rankings and the losing team just falls a few spots. I said it a few weeks ago that South Carolina had no business being ranked where they were. Missouri is probably going to get into the low 20s now and I wouldnt be surprised to see South Carolina sitting at 25 because after all, they only lost by 1 to another SEC team. I'll give you Alabama,Auburn and TAMU as very good. Georgia will probably win close to 10 games because they play in the east and they always avoid having to deal with atleast 2 of LSU,Alabama and Auburn(they only have Auburn). Everyone else could easily lose 4 games this year. And what makes Miss St a top 15 team? Winning at LSU is always good but what makes that an impressive win so far this year? LSU looked like s*** for 45 minutes against Wisconsin and looked like s*** for about 55 minutes vs Miss St. So maybe LSU just isnt that good this year by their normal standards. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 27, 2014 -> 11:05 PM) The SEC East blooooooows SEC West might just form their own conference. SEC is pretty overrated this year compared to what they've been in the past. A lot of teams living off of the reputation of the conference. I cant wait until that phony Ole Miss starts playing conference games so they can sink out of the top 25. -

too bad Cincinnati and UNC doesnt play this year, that final score might end up 80-77.
