  4. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 14, 2014 -> 11:52 PM) Just curious to know people's responses on this topic. I'm also a Bills fan and a requisite for acquiring the Bills is that the new owners keep them in Buffalo, and that Jon Bon Jovi's group has essentially gotten them kicked out as a result, it's awesome. Still, it's a slow time in the season, and I want to know. I think I know the answer - I know my answer - but am interested in yours. Don't worry, it most likely be pagula, buying them. On the sox question... NO
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 13, 2014 -> 07:09 PM) Every play at the plate should be challenged. That's what DJ was saying. Send everybody, challenge the play if out at home
  6. My problem with the rule is that it would been a close play that blanc had a fair chance of scoring or the blocking of the plate had an effect on him getting there then I can see it. But Blanco was out by 15 feet, he had no chance, that's what stinks about it. He got to score when he was not going to. Instead of the defense being rewarded it got penalized for a good play. I mean there should be situations when it's used, this one not so much.
  7. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Aug 13, 2014 -> 06:10 PM) You probably should've made that bet with me on Belisario, his ERA has been approximately 176 since LOL were you going to quote me there bud?
  8. What ERA was bellyflop going to end up with?
  9. Wow after every hit hawk gets madder
  10. Can we release belly flop today?
  11. This blows, now we see belly flop
  12. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 13, 2014 -> 05:47 PM) Only difference is Posey was farther up the line by a foot or so.. Both had their foot in the baseline though Only difference is the throw to posey was from a different angle, that's why posey was a lil off
  13. Q made the pitch and got screwed
  14. This rule sucks. Wow same play with Posey
  15. Wasn't even a close play
  16. Should be out. It wasn't even close
  17. Catcher rule so B.S
  18. Bellyflop warming...... Run for cover
  19. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 5, 2014 -> 04:01 PM) He can go back on waivers, but he is then put on irrevocable waivers and can no longer be pulled back. If it's a particularly good player, you do not want to lose them for nothing, so you will not see that happen. Your right. I was confused, thanks for clearing that up
  20. They can work a trade or the team that waived him let's the player go for nothing, but the claiming teanm takes on the full contract. Like the sox with Rios. If the player clears waivers he can be traded anywhere.
